Louie- FT sports bettor here. I live in Vegas and spend out 2-3 hours/day bouncing around between casinos grinding out a profit and eating cheap/free meals. I cap all games in the morning and play the ones my model spits back out at me if I can find a good line. Otherwise I hop online on one of the 15 online books Im funded at. Haven't worked a job in almost 10 years.

I am in Vegas as well and the answer to your question lies from within.

Do you consider your gambling a job or is it still something you are doing for action/recreation?
Do you look at a trip to a casino a trip to the office or a place to socialize and spend the day screwing around?
Do you file taxes on your wins/losses and do you declare yourself "professional gambler" on your tax returns?
Do you bet with a bankroll and abstain from chasing losses?

Just a couple of questions I would ask myself.

I am retired and play poker dawn till late night. Currently playing at UB 200K 10 seat qual for $2.
I will earn 6 digits in the next year and find no need to deposit and never have except for a few bonuses. You can earn your way to the top though multible sites like SBR. This is a perfect place just don't be in a hurry as it takes 5-8 years to become a master at most anything.

Live in Vegas and sports betting generates 75% of my income. It has done so for the past 6.5 years. The other 25% of my income come the insurance industry and clients I had before I moved to Vegas. Still dabble in all aspects of insurance producing (minus auto), easy money and recurring premium commissions.

I consider myself a full-time gambler as the majority of my day consists of mapping out the local ** locations I can hit to make my inevitable reload!!

    I ain't bigtime??

    No......guess I ain't.
