I think its Washington they wont deal with. Have serious doubts they would abandon the other 49.

Heard this as well, source is probably good.. who knows whether it will prove true. Whilst the bigger players will likely remain (as they did with Pinnacle), it will be interesting to see how Matchbook try and re-position themselves if this goes through.

Doesn't seem to make sense to leave now, as opposed to when a bunch of books/pokerrooms did?

To be honest even if this is true it should be no surprise to American bettors. For how many months/years have debit cards not worked? They don't have any easy solution for American's to deposit into the exchange anymore other than book 2 book transfers. GP went bust and they were one of the first books to use them. Really it shocks me that they still pay so timely to American's seeing as how they almost act as if the American business is not wanted.

So they want to compete with BetFair head to head. Brilliant plan.

Hopefully they will honor book to book transfers to move funds out of there and there won't be a song and dance.

I am glad to hear this was false. Even though it wouldn't affect my account, the absence of the liquidity from the American market would be crushing.

Why would a buyer first buy an exchange for Americans and then withdraw from America shortly after? Because he likes the platform so much?

I know what this 'other forum' is, I saw that post with the title 'matchbook to exist us market', but you know what is written in that post? LOL, 'Have seen this posted around the net'. I think that kind of title should be banned, spread false rumor without any truth attached.
