Love how SBR is trickling in new rules for Non SBR-Pros

It's the first step in lieu to making this a paysite. Or at least practically making it a paysite.

    Gotta keep those sponsors happy.

Not saying they arent entitled to doing whatever with their business, but at least dont be slimy about.

I fought being a pro for a while, but if you're wanting to do anything worthwhile on this forum, being a PRO is the only way to go. Depositing the money in a book was painless.

Well that's fine if you live in Vegas and have no need to deposit offshore. Still doesnt explain how depositing your own funds into your own account, then w/d your own funds from your own account constitutes you paying for jack. Might want to rethink exactly what it is you're trying to say because SBR under it's current structure is not a "paysite" Maybe you should've said SBR is turning into "I'm too lazy to drag my ass down to Walmart once a year site"

It doesnt matter, it can be the same account or a different one. And in theory you wouldnt even need to deposit the next year if you still have atleast a $200 real cash (not FP, bonus, etc) balance from your first deposit....in theory of course You just submit your renewal app for PRO and they verify the funds are there.

Exactly. Even if you use a local or non sponsored book, its painless to deposit once a year. (Notice the word DEPOSIT, not purchase or donation) If not, than thats your right and it's fine too. Just dont expect to get as much from the forum. It's business.....not rocket science.

I would love to know when betpoints and all of the perks became rights you were entitled to.

I don't believe anyone is stopping you from posting, the core function of the site.

Gotta love the "I've got a local" posters too big time to deposit 200 bucks, but still open to milking SBR for $100s to $1000s worth of items from the store.

Non-pro benefits for posting here are still far and away better than any other site, so it makes so much sense to bitch like this, huh?

SBR would be a better place if everyone had to be a PRO, it would cut out a lot of the bullcrap.

Even if you don't plan on playing offshore. All you have to do is deposit $200, apply for pro status, once pro, withdrawal your $200. You are no worse off and you can continue to play with your local(s).

On a side note though, I don't see how it would hurt to have another book. There's got to be at least a few times where the online book will have a better number on something you want to bet on as opposed to your local.

Sorry about the Service Plays forum. We are having some legal issues there. I think you can still use the transfer function but just not appear to be buying picks from pay services. So I do sincerely apologize for that. We certainly never wanted to do that but rather we had no choice.

the best way to cure all of this is make it a mandatory $200 post up site to join. Maybe you could join for a week as a guest with a guest account name & have 7 days to put $200 in a sponsor book or GTFO for good

Hell you dont even really have to deposit 200 bucks do you?..You can send 20 bucks to SportsInteraction and if you have a little luck and turn it into 200 you can still be a Pro

This is something that was not announced. It was just done without warning.

To all others. I live 5 minutes from three different sportsbooks. I you lived in Vegas you wouldnt deal with deposting, and withdrawing fund from an offshore account.

    Tobias Flunke:
I never said I wasnt complaining about how many points I accumulate. I couldnt care less. Seriously. But I dont like the limitations put on what I can do with them. All I ever do with them is give to posters that post helpful threads, and give them away. Points are useless to me otherwise.

When I lived in Texas I had a 5Dimes account. I dont need or want to deal with it anymore.

Think about this. When you guys take a trip to Vegas, do you....

    A. Deposit funds into offshore account B4 leaving so you can makes some bets while on your trip

    B. Hate not having a chance to make bets, because you didnt bring you computer

    C. Go to a sportsbook at one of the many casinos, and have an awesome time making bets with the option of cashing out you winning ticket.

    You guys decide.

Oh and for the idiot that said I'm lazy for not going to Walmart. My local sportsbook is much closer.

It's obviously understandable for you to not be pro but 98% of us don't live in Vegas. And I don't think they're being slimy about it, they announce pretty much every change they're going to make.

When is SBR going to raise the bar and maybe give the ones that leave money in a break with sportsbook cash?
