I've wondered about this for years and I was just reading the preview for the Suns-Pacers game and I think it's heavily slanted towards the Suns:
http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/preview?gameId=310227011
After I read that I was convinced the Suns would win BUT...
It's not a crazy conspiracy theory because look who wrote that preview, it's a company called "STATS, Inc.":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STATS,_Inc.
Fox sports owns Stats Inc. and Fox sports is owned by News Corp. which has an "online gaming unit": http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-...03-706815.html I just spent some researching what the online gaming unit does but I couldn't find an explanation.
It doesn't matter because you know the same people who own Vegas own tons of stock in News Corp.
Why would "they" be steering us towards the Suns? Accuscore has the Pacers winning by an average of 6 points and the line is only Pacers -3 and that's just the kind of information Stats Inc. would know and use for the analyses, right?
