    Boston is stupid, can't believe they give up perkins..

    That's there biggest strength having big bodies down low. Kristic isn't ready for playoffs, there over the cap as well.

    Ok City has chance to contend now, this makes zero sense for boston....

    To me this is like Boston saying, ok were not going to win it this year so lets start getting younger.... I thought they had a great chance to win it this season before this season...

    Perkins is done. His knee is complete shit. He reinjured it the other night. Not to mention, he wanted $10 mil/yr. Recently turned down a 4 yr, 28 mil contract to stay in Boston.

    Good move for the Celtics, as long as Shaq and Semih get healthy and stay healthy

    The Celtics needed to get more athletic and they're banking on Perkins not holding up. He's a big boy with a banged up knee that won't get better. I think it's a great move for the Celtics and I'm excited, as a Celtics fan, to watch Green become a better player.

    jeff green averaged 37 min a game, doesn't make turnovers and can score if needed. Just don't see how he plays that many minutes in boston. I guess he will be the #2 backup of pierce, garnett and ray allen, since he can play all 3 positions.

    They don't need perkins if shaq is healthy, j o neal , big davis, and kristac can play 10-15 min a game.

    Ok city wanted a rebounder for when westbrook and durant miss. They don't get many rebounds and when is the last time you see ok city pass inside

    Are you kidding me? The Cetlics big 3 is getting old and they don't have time to wait around. As someone mentioned, Perkins will have probably nagging knee problems in the future.

    I just wonder how they are going to incorporate Green into their lineup.

    Yeah, this is horrible. Erden and nate gone too. Along with harangody. They need to get a good back up guard now, and a good center. Can't say I agree. No power down low now.

    I think Green was a smart acquisition. Guy can play the 3 or 4 depending on what lineup they want to put out there. KG ain't gonna play forever. Celtics definitely needed to get younger at forward.

    Don't get me wrong for the future i like the trade for both teams, however I just feel they really are hurting their chances to win it all this season. And in today's NBA you can't afford to do that... I had Celtics/ Spurs in the finals and now I don't see C's having a chance to win that series even if they get there...

    well i didnt care they traded perkins cause he sucks and his knee is shot but then i just read they also traded erden and harangody so basically all they have for a big man now is shaq which is pretty funny. i dont think the celtics are gonna do sh** this year after the dumb trades they just made, not to mention all they got for erden and harangody was a 2013 second round pick.
