For simplified spread generating, use the power rankings... This is how many points that team is better than an "average" team. HFA is worth about 3.75.

If you average all the Div Ia teams. Average of all stats on a neutral field. This means teams that play a lot more home games than road games get adjusted downward.

According to those rankings BYU would be a pk at OSU or Kansas, line would be more like Kansas -8
I bet about 1/4th of the game spreads, and about 1/30th of the totals. There are 30 games on the board right now for tomorrow. What are the odds that I have no plays tomorrow, assuming 30 games with spreads and totals.
How would you factor it? Your average would have you playing 7.5 game spreads, and 1 total.
so how would that translate into odds against no play v. plays??

Duke is the best team. They should be number one. They win the championship this year. Mark my words.
Wisconin - solid team.
However, Wisconsin is absurdly overrated.

And HC is worth about 10 points for them. If they win @ Purdue and OSU, more respect.
Probably out by the 1st weekend, S16 tops. Maybe they're different this year, but it's doubtful.

No way should BYU or San Diego St. be in the top 10. You stick those teams in the big east and they would be dead last.

I'd agree maybe with Duke if Irving was healthy but he's done for the year and so is Duke.
Depaul, and USF play in that conference. So no.
plus im guessing you have never seen either team play. SDSU is a rebounding machine. When you see that team, they look like any other top team in America physically.
BYU has the best PG in the country, and their SG doesnt miss 3pts when he catches and shoots. The rest of the team are guys who play smart, like any BYU team would. Being smart is a talent also. That is why Duke is good perennially. They have great players, but they all execute what the coach tells them to do consistently.
i still think pitt can beat anyone with there strong d and great shooters
