    Question about Withdrawals

Can you cash a check from a sportsbook at a Wal Mart or other check cashing outlet? I am currently using BETJAM exclusively and would prefer not to involve my bank in any transactions.

    Thank you in advance.

Wal Mart, no..I believe they only cash payroll and government checks.. Check cashing stores, possibly..I have no first hand knowledge but I remember reading that some people have had success while some have not..

Use your regular bank. There should be no problems.

Banks really don't question where the check is from....just if it gets rejected or not. If it's an international check it just takes longer to clear your account thats all. Not that big of a concept here

I believe that the poster is worried about the paper trail left by using his bank - not the inconvenience of finding another method.

i received a check from Betjm, it was a BofA check.. They would not allow me to cash it at a BofA Branch, said the check had a 'deposit only' tag on it.. Had to go to my own bank.. and they held it for 10 days

I have used BetJam for years. MOST banks won't give you a hard time in the USA, but some will. Also, you will wait a decent period for the check to clear at some USA banks as well. I have withdrawn from them with the ATM card (which I am not sure they still offer) and **.

Regarding withdrawals I highly recommend The Greek Sports Book. Their modo is "sweat the game , not the payout" I have been very pleased with the Greek. They will charge you $35 to withdrawal and they will send you a check to made out to whatever bank you use. You just have to wait for the check to clear after you take it to the bank. Usually takes 3 or 4 days.

I used to have an account with BETUS ..... Here is my experience with them... I cashed out last summer and they sent me a check for $3,000. I go to the bank and cash the check...

Okay so i don't have alot of money in my bank account and at the time I didn't have much at all prior maybe $500. But I checked my bank account about a week after I cashed the check from Betus and it said I had over drawn my account and the bank showed I had Negative $2,500 .... rediculous and it took a long time to sort out with Betus, the people that work there just pass the phone around no one knows who is in charge.

Anyway I highly recommend the Greek. Very friendly people there too.

Go to any check-cashing place to avoid the paper trail from the bank.

If you have any casinos in your city, they will cash checks for free.

Not one check cashing place in America will touch out of USA checks. You have to go to bank or like an underground arab spot

Only reason to avoid a "paper trail" is if you're looking to commit tax evasion. Pay your taxes, like the law requires, and don't worry about "paper trails."

I wouldn't mind paying taxes on some of the sums I rack up. Can you gamble illegally and then pay taxes on the earnings?

Not all Vegas casinos cash checks. On the contrary, most do not.

Actually the teller at my bank grilled me about where my check came from

Made up some bullshit story that it was for a contracted job and it worked

I took a check from a book, that was drawn from canadian national bank with a office in NY, took it to a check cashing place and they grilled me what the company was the check was from, they wouldnt cash the check until they got ahold of someone from the company.. they eventually cashed it, just took about 45 minutes
