if GSP wasn't here, Fitch would probably be WW champ and the biggest fight they could make would be Fitch/Penn. This fight should be hyped more.

I can't wait for this fight either. I'm sure the winner of this fight will probably be fighting someone else for the belt after GSP moves to MW. Unless GSP loses which can easily happen. If GSP loses to Anderson Silva will he continue in MW or drop back down?

only thing fitch needs to worry about is BJ's boxing. Other than that...i see fitch taking bj to the ground and using his strength to grind out a victory.

it comes down to the explosiveness of fitchs takedowns---explosive= BJ gets ground down non explosive= BJ picks apart fitch on feet. Also does BJ feel like fighting that night? BJs my fav. but he's very frustrating to watch sometimes

Winner of this is now officially number 1 contender according to DW...so looks like we could see GSP vs BJ PENN 4! More likely to be GSP vs Fitch 2 which im sure will go down well! Also means the Anderson Silva superfight defo wont be happenin for a while.

Not really. DW says a lot of things to hype a card. Fitch has been in like 4 #1 contender fights lol. Okami/Marquardt was a #1 contender fight. Blah blah. if gsp loses he will try again it only makes sense because the only way he will lose is if the extra weight slows him down.he may need an additional fight to settle in the 185 .
