If you found a glitch in the SBR Sportsbrook, will you report it or abuse it?

If your answer is to abuse it, well it means that you're the biggest scumbag in the face of SBR (see: trixtrix)

Reporting it ASAP is the best thing to do and good karma will be on your way..

You seem to be talking a lot of sh*t for someone with a grand total of 26 posts.

Trixtrix did NOTHING that was against the rules at the time he did it...

I would do neither; I'm too lazy. I would just assume that somebody else will report it, so no need for me to waste my time in doing so.

hey casper why don't you just shut the fukk up.

was there anything in book rules that stated correlated soccer parlays were against the rules? no. so how is it a glitch when there were no rules in place?

Definitely abuse it for about 100 pts a day, so no one recognizes anything. Maybe lose back 50 or so a couple days a week.

If it was a real book, I would milk it to the max. but accept the consequences if/when they cottoned on.

I would not abuse the SBR book. The points are free and my point bets are for giggles only.

Seeing as SBR could probably revoke not only the points but your membership, not sure why you'd want to bite the hand that feeds.

your a bit special aren't you? trixtrix did not take advantage of a glitch in the software. At least I'm pretty sure it wasn't actually a "glitch" the software worked the way it was intended to but some plus +ev plays were possible.

your probably a ghost of crustyme (the guy who was harassing trix)

Wong teasers, correlated soccer parlays, etc. are not glitches - Trix abused the book as we all should have. Good on him.

If you want better karma you'd do well to get rid of your jealousy.

I would and did report it immediately. Easy to say so after the fact I know, but I would have reported it had it benefited me as well. It hasn't helped me any.

(Actually, upon further thought, I did report it without having any clue whether it would benefit me or not. Had my bet been changed and the Packers had lost, I would have have had 0 gripes whatsoever. )

He didn't abuse anything. The book offered the bet. He took it. Where's the abuse? If the book did not want to offer the bet, they should not have offered it. The book inferring that they were abused because they lost out on some bets is just wrong. They offered the bets. Nobody forced them to do it.

Correlated parlays are not a glitch and there is nothing wrong with betting them if a book accepts the wager I would imagine that the book is also letting players bet the opposite UNcorrelated parlay in the same game. I see this as abuse by the book if they allow a player to parlay the dog and the over they are giving themselves a huge advantage on those parlays.

If you're going to get into this type of rationale you will have a very tough time being successful.

I have no idea what Trix Trix did or how he made his betpoints, so I'm not going to say whether he abused anything. But if people think they can take shots and it wont come back to bite them in the ass, they are in for a surprise.

It is difficult to draw a line. For example, the SBR book has been slow to update lines recently. Say, the price is stale and 5 cents better than pinny, but not arbable. Is it wrong to take it? Only if it is -EV is correct to take it? What about +1% EV? +5%?

Are Wong teasers abuse? If so, the long term winning players are abusing the book on every bet placed...

How is it taking a shot if the book offered the bets? You see, when SBR obtained their license for the software, there are settings in the admin area of what they will and will not allow. SBR chose what they wanted to accept bets on. If the book lost big on it, it's no more taking a shot than if the player had lost big. In this case, the book lost. Nobody took a shot. Nobody abused anything.

If you go into BestBuy, and they are offering laptops for $199, maximum of 10 per customer, and you buy 10 of them, are you taking a shot at them? Are you abusing the sale? No. They made an offer. You accepted it. Period. Does it change the scenario any if you found out that BestBuy was taking a $50 loss on each laptop, because they were hoping you would buy other things in the store (maybe the extended warranties, accessories, etc), but you decided to only buy the $199 laptops, and nothing further? No it doesn't. BestBuy made an offer, you accepted it. SBR made an offer, it was accepted. Again and again and again.

Trix did nothing wrong, and SBR did nothing wrong. They decided after the fact that they no longer wanted to accept those types of bets, so they turned the options off in the admin area (the same way they decided to allow them in the first place - they could've disabled them anytime they wanted to, yet they continued to allow them to happen). SBR did not confiscate any winnings. Nobody is in the wrong here. So what's the issue?
