Be honest--How many of you are aware of the new NFL OT rule for today's SB?

I actually had forgotten about it.

I would love to see it play out just to see how teams react play the OT now.

    For those of you unaware.

If a team receives the OT kickoff and marches down and kicks a FG-----the other team still gets a crack at scoring.

If a team receives the OT kickoff and marches down and scores a TD---game over.

If a team receives the OT kickoff and marches down and kicks a FG----and then the other team scores a td------they win.

If both teams open up with a FG---the next score wins.

Been dying to see this play out all post season ... would be epic if it went down tonight.

pretty much will be played the same except the first team with the ball will probably try harder to score a td then they would with the old OT rules where they would just lay down once they got in easy fg range.

I like college rules the best, wish they would have went with those. Although the new rules are better than the old ones imo.
