This arguement falls apart when you look at it.

Pippen got to play two years without Jordan and his number barley improved, only about 1-2 ppg and .5rbg and a loss of about .5asg.

This year with Bosh and Wade on the team Lebron's number are only moving slightly, down about 2-3 PPG,

dont like pippen but nothing w/o jordan??

pippen finished 3rd in mvp and led the bulls to 1 awful call away from the conf finals while jordan was striking out in baseball. pippen was named to top 50 greatest of all time and hall of fame on his own merits.

in fact pippens winning % without jordan is much higher than jordans without pippen.

Pippen is a better defender and a slightly better perimeter shooter but just about everything else Lebron by a considerable margin.

With Bird and Kobe it's a lot closer. Until Lebron leads (or at least co-leads) his team to a championship you have to put him a notch behind those two.
