Interesting piece this morning in California bay area news. There was a gentleman from some Sports Lawyers group or something talking sports betting in California. He said, "During last years NCAA tournament there were several pressing issues passing through California law regarding sports betting and particularly sports betting office pools during for major sports events". One of these issues he was referring to was small time bets placed during these type of events. He said, "Smaller wagers less than $2500 were considered a small infraction and most of the time not even be cited. The larger wagers thousands of dollars, especially during these big games are the ones that are illegal." So im watching this piece and he basically was saying small office pools are legal, and smaller wagers under $2500 are considered legal. Any more information on this..
Anyone else hear this guy this morning on the news. I'll try to find a news story or something showing this.
