    How do I get a job doing the live-game (stats) for a website

    like yahoo sports, cbs, mlb.com or whoever.

    I want to the be the guy that does the play by play on the live tracker page.


    anyone ever done this? or know how to get into it?

    I know a friend who does this...he reports to the company in person and the people each get a room with food and drinks to go along with the tv and computer and he keeps all the stats...located outside Philly PA

    I went ahead and applied. They send me an email packet explaining more info. pay is better then I thought per game. Going to fill this out and mail it back into tomorrow.

    Hows it going guys. This topic interested me. I would love to do some kind of work with this. My question to you is this. The only reason I know about a job like this is because of this post. I am a senior in college with a major in accounting and statistics. Would it be a jerk move to go ahead and apply for a job with this Stats company now? Or should I wait until the original poster hears back from the company to apply. I dont want to steal any jobs here. It would only be part time anyways

    OK, I just didn't want to take a job away from somebody that informed me of that job. I'm not saying my background is any better than his or i'm def gonna get the job, just didn't wanna be a jerk in case i get it. I guess ill go for it and cut and paste my email responses I get from Stats LLC to this thread.
