    Anyone here take clonozapam

Prescribed 1 ** twice a day about 2 years ago for restless legs. I take half a milligram. Works about
80 percent of the time. I'm down to 6 pills so i have 12 days worth. I didn't want to get addicted or even be on meds, so i decided to try half a milligram. 80 bucks to see doc cost too much.

Just wondered if anyone here takes it or anything for anxiety or restless legs. No idea what caused mine about 2 years ago,, but its in my ankles and hips. No bouncing knee like you see alot of people have..

Just wanted to hit my heel on the floor, rotate them over and over and bounce my leg up and down before bed because i can't sleep.

Been trying to cure myself naturally for the last 2 years and nothing works. Suppovely a calcium
and magnesium defiency on research. Doesn't work though.

Yeh yeh yeh i know, 350 pounds don't help shit, stfu. Its probaly all that bike riding and tennis also combined with no sleep and discover card calling my cell phone everyday and wanting to cut a deal.

I took it for a year after 9/11. It made me feel dopey. I truly began to feel dumber on it. Got off it.

Restless legs - ouch. I never had them until I had a bad mountain bike accident a year ago that shattered my knee and broke/dislocated my shoulder. Ever since then, the restless legs are annoying as fukk. The doctor sent me the pharmacy to get a vitamin C shot, but that didn't do shit. I'm not going to take a sedative, even at a low dose, to deal with this.

For me, stretching really works the best. Look into lower back stretches (as if you were wanting to alleviate lower back pain). Your doctor can also prescribe you medication specifically for restless legs (Mirapex and Requip).

Here's something I just found for some good stretches to do when your restless legs won't leave you the hell alone. Try doing these, and any other stretches for lower back pain. If you're not familiar with any, just google away; you'll find plenty:

Simple stretching can help stop the symptoms of restless legs syndrome (RLS) in their tracks. Here’s a handful to help you get started.

Calf stretch – Stretch out arms so that palms are flat against a wall and elbows are nearly straight. Keep right knee slightly bent and step back a foot or two with left leg, positioning the heel and foot flat on the floor. Hold for 20 to 30 seconds. Now bend left knee while still keeping the heel and foot flat on the floor. For a deeper stretch, move foot back a bit farther. Switch legs and repeat.

Front thigh stretch – Stand parallel to a wall for balance. Keep one leg straight and bend other knee and hold ankle to pull your heel up toward your buttock. Hold for 20 to 30 seconds. Switch legs and repeat.

Hip stretch – Stand facing a chair, with the back for the chair against a wall for support. Raise left foot up and rest it flat on the chair, with knee bent. (Or try placing your foot on a stair while holding the railing for balance.) Keeping spine as neutral as possible, press pelvis forward gently until you feel a stretch at the top of the right thigh. Your pelvis will move forward only a little. Hold for 20 to 30 seconds. Switch legs and repeat.

Ambien is for sleeping. My restless legs act up every single night, around 7-8pm. I don't want to go to sleep around 7-8pm. I have no idea why it's at that time. It's hard to describe the feelings of it to somebody who has never had it. It's like an intense tingly feeling that you HAVE to move your legs - you simply cannot sit them still. The harder you resist, the worse it gets. And even when you move your legs, or go for a walk, whatever, the moment you relax again, the feeling returns. It is HIGHLY annoying, and no doctor has been able to fix it for me yet. I never had this problem before my shattered kneecap, so who the hell knows.

wow that is weird and must suck

I would recommend maybe trying to find a good reflexologist, a good one not a quackey one, obviously

I know people who have had accident-related issues that traditional docs couldn't help, and were fixed by a reflexologist

one friend in particular fell through a roof, cracked his pelvis, etc etc, and used a catheter for years, and was told he'd have to do it his whole life and there was nothing he could do

He went to see a reflexologist about it one time, after having used a catheter for years, ironically because he was in another country and couldn't get catheters anymore, and the guy fixed him after a few sessions, he hasn't used a catheter now in a few years, seems to be good as new

this reminds me of that a little

its not something u should take everyday. its a PRN. because it kicksin right away, u only need to take it in situations that u are taking it for.

citalopram works for me as an everyday thing to keep anxiety down

Yah, I wouldn't want to take medication for it, either, since I don't believe that a drug would fix it; it would only help to alleviate the symptoms, which is just a temporary fix. I don't like the side effects of them either. Obviously, mine have something to do with either the accident or the reconstructive surgery to rebuild my kneecap. I'll look into finding a good reflexologist. That would be a miracle not to have to deal with this crap every single night for the rest of my life.

Klonopin (clonzepam) is a great anxiety drug but highly addictive and tough to stop taking. People that go off it too abruptly can have seizures too

heh, I took some rivotril once and started drinking rum n cokes. I remember nothing after that. i woke up in my computer chair, sitting in front of my computer, with 4 ecstasy pills and a few bags of coke sitting beside me, and several browser windows open with various porn sites loaded in em. whatever the fukk i did, it looks like i had a ton of fun, lol.

i guess that while i was blacked out, i called a guy to get me some blow and x, met up with him, paid for it, went to a casino afterward (as evidenced by the $1500 ATM withdrawal receipt in my pocket), then i guess ended up back home, watching porn.

the weird part about blackouts is just trying to piece together what in the hell happened, asking different people for info to help you form a story of what happened. i guess it was a fun night, but i'll never know.

I took it for about a year for anxiety however I couldn't concentrate on everyday tasks as well. I did get "addicted", when I stopped taking it I had a few sleepless nights but that's it.

Have to disagree some what, i have been taking them for 3 years now,and i am not dumber. I take 3mg a day,you reduce your dose daily for a few weeks, then take a cuople weeks off of them. They work great, do make you kind of groggy in the am.

Wanna know something that's REALLY hard to kick? A highly addictive stimulating substance that is pretty difficult to abstain from. Affects the exact same pleasure centers of your brain as cocaine and heroin. Has no medicinal nor nutritional values. Causes loads of dopamine to be released into your system. Pumps you full of energy. You have a strong desire to dose again usually within an hour. Any guess what it is? (not talking about coffee, heh)
