I took Washington over Denver ML, thinking, "13-9 Wizards' home rec. verses 5-13 Nuggets' road rec., and Washington's 5 point dogs at home? Appreciable bets placed on Denver and the line's not really moving, so I bet most people are ignoring the home-road discrepancies. Screw Washington being on b2b!" The current score is... oh, Washington narrowed the deficit some, 88-75. Come on, little guys!

Well until the Wizards win on the road I'm going to say they are the second worse team in the league. There's nothing worse then an 18 game losing streak than a 0-21 road record. Although the inconsistent game plays from the Raptors and Kings make it debatable.

I would say the Wizards right now, but they definitely have the possibly of being better under a different system. At the moment the Cavs is the only team playing for a high draft pick.

First time Minnesota was mentioned, I was thinking them too. Washington has a winning record right now at home.

Kings for sure, although I also agree that the cavs suck so bad, they are probably one and two.

Read the thread title before you reply. It doesn't say "tell me which side of the ball teams are weak on".

Phoenix gives up more points per game than Golden State, despite having played an easier schedule. By your criteria, wouldn't the Suns' defense make it a candidate for second worst team in the NBA?

I am leaning towards Toronto with New Jersey behind them.

I would have to say the Timberwolves are the 2nd worst team in the NBA.

Kings aren't as bad as their record indicates, they have the tendency to give up big leads and choke in close games.

Minnesota is pretty horrendous though, all offense, no defense. They are an even worse version of the already weak Phoenix Suns.

Wouldn't a tendency to give up big leads and choke in close games just be further evidence that they're a horrible team? You say it as if it's not their fault or something.

I think they're actually worse than their record indicates, considering they've played one of the easiest schedules so far.

It shows they have the talent to challenge teams but not the maturity yet to convert them into wins. Compare this to a team like Cleveland that just gets destroyed every game.

I think that it's official now...
I like Sactown but they are the 2nd worst

Minnesota has some great talent imo, maybe they have a lack of experience but they should have more wins..
in two years they might be a playoff contender
