    any other player in the league would have had a shot of painkiller at halftime and been back out there, but i doubt he could have done any better than haine anyway - haine would be my qb next year and cutler would be gone. he let his teammates down. i heard they are burning his jersey in chicago.

    Yeah Hanie can be the backup. Hanie actually was the backup until he got hurt in the preseason so they signed Collins. Why the Bears didn't move Hanie back up to #2 on the chart, esp after that Carolina game, is perplexing to say the least.

    The only thing I will give the guy is that he got beat up all season with our shitty O-LINE but i think it is more the way he handles this shit.     Highly, highly doubt it was his ACL... he wouldn't have been on the bike or walking much. MCL or PCL is definitely possible though. Its just amazing to me that Byron Leftwich can break his leg in a game, and finish out the game with his linemen carrying him down the field, IN COLLEGE, but a "tough guy" like Cutler can't even attempt to go back in the NFCCG? If he was really in that much pain, he wouldn't have been walking around.
