    Referral points??

    I have referred a few people to this website now, and every time they sign up they enter my user name as the person who referred them to the website. Do i get points for this??

    Otherwise why does sbr ever ask for who referred you to the website when you sign up?

    then i would just create fake new accounts from my local library or use the free WiFi from McDonald's and reap a bunch of cheap points.

    and then i would say, "check the IP address!"

    The 'referrer' field is standard in vBulletin. There are no point rewards for referring friends, if there were such a reward it would be subject to more abuse than a pinata.
