I think value can depend on which book your are using for the freeplay and what the restrictions are for its use, there is a big variation between some books especially the odds/lines available for freeplays.

This is what it says on the BetJ website:

    Freeplay Bonuses [Top]
All promotional freeplay bonuses have a six time roll-over or 20 time roll-over in the Casino and a $500 maximum payout.
Does this apply to the $250 SBR store freeplay? So you could only wager on a dog of up to +200? Or is this wrong?

seems pretty clear to me ... $500 max payout .. so depends on the odds of the dog surely?

only ambiguity is what is meant by "payout" .. some books refer to the profit at the "payout" ..eg. 188bet and bet$3.65? but generally in my experience it includes the stake

Having fun with them right now at BP and BJ.

Is the $500 the overall limit for betjam?

What if I run up my freeplay to more eventually?

If your freeplay wins, you can continue to scalp out your balance. As long as you are in a good, safe site. And if it loses, you are free and clear, and can usually get another re-up bonus ( a big plus each time a heavy underdog loses on a freeplay!).

freeplays are worth it. I have clear freeplays up to 5x rollover including a couple cashes at Bodog and Diamond Sportsbook respectively without making deposits. One high XXX and one low XXXX. Freeplays are worth it, just got to get the right book. Hope this helps.

There is no limit. Just need to satisfy rollover.

I'm certain that last time I looked at their rules there was a max. payout of $500 for free plays

Now all I can find is this:

    Special Promotional Free Accounts [Top]
All promotional free accounts have a six time roll-over and a $300 maximum payout.

    I'm confused.

And the term "payout" is used differently by some books.
Does it include your stake at BJ or does it mean winnings only?

That rule is for promotional free accounts. It doesn't apply for free plays purchased in the SBR Store.

I think the best way is to bet freeplay on high odd (try to lost it) ant lay it in another bookie.

Why do people think its a good idea to just toss money away? If you won the points to get the free play then you are good enough to pick some plays or able to follow someone that is good at it. So why no do it again?

Your way its gone unless your dog wins. And some only allow a +200 or less dog. Not worth throwing it away on.

Take it and play it like you would your with your regular money. Its like having a safe with money in it, you just need the code to get it. Pick games well and its yours.

    totally missing the point James
if the dog loses you've turned your free play into free cash
