Anyone lose or find a wallet with $ in it recently?End result was?

Has anyone here found a wallet with money in it?Be honest, what did you do with it?Loot it and then give all the cards, drivers license etc.back?Give it back intact with money still in it?Took the money and destroyed the rest of the stuff? If you returned it intact, did you get a reward?

Same goes for losing a wallet, did you get it back intact with money?Did you give the finder a reward?

Found one probably 6 months ago. It had $3 or something like that in it, plus some GC's and 1 or 2 CC's. Didn't really look through it that closely. Guess I was in a good mood because I turned it in to the restaurant I was at. Didn't leave my name or any contact info...so no reward.

Found a wallet this past summer from someone that played a round of golf at the course I'm a member at. He must have been parked in the same spot as me and pulled out before I came to the course. It had a debit card, credit card, DL and SS card, along with under 20 in cash. I turned it into the pro shop and he came to get it. He tried giving me a cash reward, but I declined. He bought me a beer anyways. The kid was only like 22-23 and lived a couple blocks from me.

If I lost it, I'd be very happy to get it back minus the cash and with my DL, CC's, etc.

Couldn't keep it. Would have to turn everything back in. I gave $1 back to a Wendy's cashier the other day because she overpaid me in change by accident.

I lost my wallet that contained about $100 and some debit cards and license. I thought I'd never get it back but surprisingly a man in his 30s knocked on my door the next day with it. Apperently u lost it late at night at a gas station about 30 minutes away from my house. Im surprised he drive that far to do a good deed. Any other guy would've took the money at least but not a dime went missing.

And you probably did not offer him any cash to reimburse him for his time and gas did you?

Did you pay that woman for the damage you did to her car yet?

I lost mine while at work with 60 in it. Went back to where I left it, cash was gone. rooster suckers.

Found one before, had well over 500 in it. Gave it to store management and noted that I knew how much was in there and wrote down the guys name and going to be contacting him.

I offer to give him $20 but he denied it. Look liked a wealthy man doing a good deed in his nice Viper.

Haven't paid her yet but she say that she will allow me until the 28th to pay her back. Perfect timing as that's when I get my paycheck. I emailed her my ID so she can extend me more time and pursue legal action if I don't settle

That was very generous of that man to take time out of his day and gas out of his vehicle to help out someone he has never met in his life. This world needs more people like that!!!

Once I was waiting for the subway with a couple of friends. On the seat right beside us there was a giant pencil case thing. The zipper was open a bit and we could see a bill poking through. One of my friends goes to take it, opens the zipper all the way and the whole thing explodes with cash. They were all 20s and a few 50s so probably 750 - 1250$ in there. My other friend and I were contemplating whether to take everything, or just take the money and leave the pencil case, or to leave everything alone, as there were a few other people around so maybe something was up.

Anyway, before we can decide the friend with the pencil case goes 'damn, someone's probably missing THIS EH?? HAHA' and then goes upstairs and gives the whole fukking thing to the guy at the turnstile counter. Such a piss-off, and we were young too, so that's GIANT money to us. What the fukk will the turnstile guy do with that anyway other than keep it for himself. Fukk i'm angry all over again.

lol, I guess not all SBR members are douchebags. Just from the short experience I've had posting on SBR, I was expecting a bunch of posts saying "I would of taken that cash and dumped the wallet in the ******* trash cause wtf, how does a person lose their ******* wallet" or some other retarded shit like that. I've never found any wallets, but if I did, I would do my best to contact the individual that lost it or hand it in to whatever authority is around at the time. I know if I lost my wallet, I would want the wallet and everything inside returned to me promptly.

Never found one but if I did I'd try and give it back to the person it belonged to, I hate when I misplace mine and think I lost it, if I did I'd just want my CC's, DL and other crap, you can keep the money just save me the headache of having to call each CC company, DL etc.

Lost mine this summer heading back home from the casino. I was stupid drunk, had atleast $400 cash, debit and ************, SS card, college ID, pretty much my whole life in it. Would have been happy to just get the wallet back without the cash, but never heard anything about it.

Lost a Gucci Wallet with maybe $120. Had a gift card to Williams Sonoma with $4 left on it. Also had a Dave and Busters game card. For some reason before I lost it I took out my debit and my license. Good thing. I left it at one of the richest neighborhood butcher shops. Of course I came back 4 hours later it was gone and they never saw it!!

A lot of scum out there, but still I believe at least half would return wallet, with cash still in it.

Also, if someone returns your wallet and you had a lot of valuable cards, driver's license, etc - the classy thing to do is hand over all cash remaining in wallet to the one who returned it.
