Stupidest excuse for not being an SBR Pro

I have heard the excuse a lot that some posters don't want to become an SBR Pro because they don't want sbr to get a percentage of their losses.

This doesn't make sense to me because if you lose the money you would rather the book get the whole percentage and not sbr who provides us with so much free stuff and tools that make us bettor gamblers. I am happy that sbr gets some money from when I lose so they can keep providing us with free shyt and keep the forum going strong.

firzelli i agree. sbr pro status is def +EV.

mods, i used bookmaker to gain sbr pro status. so does sbr profit only when i lose money at bookmaker? or when i lose money at any book that i signed up using an sbr affiliate link?

People have their own reason for not being a pro. That doesn't mean the excuse is valid.

I asked the mods before I became a pro if SBR profits from any losses from me and they said no. They said SBR doesnt get anything out of it. I called it was shady from the get go, i wont be renewing my application in a year.

I don't see why people need to argue over who's pro and who's not. It's a good service, some choose other options

The excuse many give is personal information being given....kind of weak...like I care that someone knows how much I'm winning or losing. Never claimed to be a big time bettor, and I'm not concerned what others think. I appreciate the entire SBR establishment for what they offer, and have given

I just have a good amount of cash in a sportsbook that works very well for me...that isn't affiliated with SBR, so i'm not gonna go pro until i decide to switch books or lose all my cash...neither of which i see happening any time soon! Although I love SBR, but i'm content where I'm at

No one is saying that those that play with Locals and those that use books that don't sponsor SBR dont have legit reasons not to become pro.

But some people do make up very lame excuses about sbr getting money for your losing or sbr selling you info to the government or some other stupid tinfoil hat theories, which are quite frankly BS.

There are enough legit reasons for people not taking advantage of the the pro benfefits, and those people that have them state them, yet some people just make up stupid shit.

Here are the reasons that I've seen:

    1. I use a local and have no use for online sportsbooks.
    2. I use a sportsbook that is not a sponsor of SBR.
    3. I don't want my personal information being used.
    4. I currently do not have enough money to fund a sponsored book.
    5. I don't want to (this must be some pathetic attempt at anti-conformism).

Every single reason I listed above leaves me to include all non-SBR Pros should not be given any betpoints nor be allowed to participate in any of the contests. Here is why:

If you use a local, good for you. You are of zero use to SBR. Fukk your page impressions and the horse they rode in on.

If you don't use a sponsored book, that means you have enough funds to get one and clearly personal information isn't an issue. Stop being a fukk.

You don't want your personal information being used? Then how the fukk you going to buy anything at the SBR Store, you stupid fukk? Fukk you and your privacy concerns. You aren't that important and no one cares. Get over yourself.

You're broke? Why you on this message board? For the charming banter? Maybe you should spend more time looking for work and less time on SBR and funding a sportsbook wouldn't be such an issue? Clueless fukk.

You don't want to? Fukk you.

So, as you can see there's no reason to give these useless members any points. Provide them an incentive to fund a sponsored book and watch them do it. Most of these sheep don't know how to do anything unless you tell them, it's about time SBR does just that.

    God bless*.

key boarding i am sorry to say so but you have no clue what you are talking about

sbr makes its money from adverts it posts on the sbr website, and probably gets paid according to how much traffic sbr generates, and since non pros are the majority they produce the majority of the traffic and hence the majority of sbr's revenue

if sbr makes this a pros only forum traffic will fall so much that they will lose many advertisers

hows does this reason sit with you:

US sportsbooks suck and the only reason i would use them is if they give me a freeplay

    No, you're mistaken.

Most non-Pros are pretty pathetic and would still come to SBR even if they didn't get points. It's still the best sports betting forum available.

That's what no one seems to get. All the Pros have to deal with these stupid broke fukks watering down our prize pools. You're parasites.

    That's an easy one.

Its a lousy 200 bucks. And for that, you still get to play your money at very good books-----and if you are here posting, you may as well let the point system benefit you.

365 x 12 points per day banks you 4380 points.

Add in another hundred for your anniversary join date---and that is 4500 points for doing nothing.

What is that worth? 300 dollars cash at a place like the Greek.

So for your initial 200 dollar investment----you get a 300 dollar play back for doing nothing but posting once a day.
