    if Durant was a good defender, would he be a good MVP candidate?

    In my opinion....No.

    The dude is a great shooter, but that is really all he does. Him and Westbrook are their entire team and they could be better if he passed the ball more....like lebron

    really dont think he would put up the same offensive numbers if he was hunkering down on d ... no one does

    lebrons d is based on ridiculous plays and less on actually lock down defense

    durant is a good defender, but chokes in the clutch and has a low shooting percentage.
    Only reason he has a high percentage is dunks and layups/ alley oops he gets on breakways

    Durant is a good defender. Since he doesn't block a lot of shots, he doesn't get much credit. He does need to pass the ball more.
