If Green Bay wins the next 2 games...

And Seattle wins next week, Seattle could host the NFC Championship game. That would be amusing.

Is there anything wrong with the 7-9 Seahawks hosting the 11-5 Saints? The Saints lost by 5 points. If the game were played in New Orleans, the home field swing is worth about 6 points. Yes, maybe luck had an impact, but home teams are more luck-resistant. Forcing New Orleans to play on the road may increase the likelihood of them losing by 20% (if you accept a 6-point swing for homefield advantages).

If the improbable continues to happen, Seattle might even finish the season with a winning record... IF they win 2 more playoff games, and the Super Bowl (if they lost the Super Bowl, they would finish at 10-10).

I can't see Seattle winning on the road in the playoffs. I also didn't see Seattle beating the Saints so I guess anythings possible and we'll just have to see how everything plays out.

Interesting scenario! I just don't think Seattle can go on the road and win at Chicago or Atlanta.

Fortunately I was not one of those Saints ML backers. I'm also glad I didn't tease the Saints to even.

Hasselbeck is a solid QB, he did take his team to the superbowl and probably should have won.

Seahawks are a dangerous squad, dont underestimate them

I was fist pumping as I left the Saints game knowing that this was a slim possibility. Will it happen? Probably not but if it did I'd order tickets right away.

Falcons should crush the Seahawks but who knows, Seattle is unpredictable.

you cant usually give up 36 points and win in the playoffs...

I wouldn't count on that happening again...

As opposed to the other teams that have everything to lose? It's the playoffs, everyone has nothing to lose.

Seattle has no expectations, if they lose no big deal. If Atlanta loses, they will be pissed

Seattle really has nothing to lose

Eagles and Falcons in Atlanta for the chance to go to the Superbowl, will be the hottest ticket in Atlanta since the 96 Olympics, the league can not pass up that type of money, that's a lock

And exactly how does this make Seattle play better than Atlanta? They don't care if they lose therefore they have a better chance of winning? I fail to see the logic.

I was very impressed by Hasselback last night. I thought he was going to throw 3 INTs and lose the game for Seattle. He played well and took advantage of Jenkins being out for NOR. Lynch might have found himself a new home as well in Seattle.
