a lot of people blame nadals loss on his fever he had vs lacko. davydenko can beat him but i dont think he is there mentally, remember he hasn't seen winning ways since before he left with that broken left wrist injury. you saw how tight davy got when trying to serve out nadal, if he does get the chance against fed he will get tight again for sure

Federer owns a 14-2 edge over Davydenko, so there is no way I can back Davy tomorrow. This time last year, Davy did beat Federer in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) in the semis in Qatar.

I think Federer -375 actually holds some value. I would have expected the line to be -500+

That does seem kind of low. 6-4, 6-4 is a winner and that's only breaking Davy once a set. I really like that play, I can see Federer taking a set 6-2 and call it good

I'd lay the juice and take -3.5 to the bank.

I'm on Fed -3.5 Davs wins haven't been all too impressive, I feel Fed is the better form player here.

I agree. Fed should be too strong as he has been of late. Nadal wasn't himself yesterday. In saying that I'm always wary of players form that seem to peak at around the same tourneys each year and Davy bt Fed and Nadal last year as well as Karlovic.

Federer wins and covers the -3.5 I think. He revenges last year's semifinal defeat and makes it 15-2 against Davydenko, who is far from the form he was in 12 months ago.

Probably a 7-6 6-3 type win. Over should be good.

Federer to take the trophey and to become the favorite to win Australian Open (not by ranking, but by bookmaker odds)

The short answer is yes it is possible. The long answer is not today, fed's form, Davy being aided by the rafa sickness, the surface and the list goes on. Take Fed -3.5 or the under.

Changed my mind from 7-6 6-3 to 7-5 6-4 in this match and consequently had a wager on the Under 22.5 at even money (since -3.5 was juiced to over -130 by the start time).

7-6 6-3 is going to be the score in the upcoming Soderling-Roddick final. 220 kmph aces, short rallies. A-B-C.
