    How.can SBR possibly be impartial?

I'm a new member, but a long time follower of SBR forums. I wouldn't dream of joining a sports book without looking to SBR first, but i find myself now days much more interested in what players have to say then SBR on individual sites.

How can we trust a sports book review site who receives money from the books we hope for an impartial review of? How can we hope for SBR to put our interests first when dealing with the aforementioned books?

Wouldn't a co-op style thing work better, with people throwing a few bucks each into maintaining a yearly subscription. These models DO work, look at Choice magazine, a huge review site for consumer products in Australia. Thoughts?

I personally would HAPPILY pay for that.

SBR does a pretty good job at grading the books, not every book as an A+ rating if you noticed.

Sbr is about as impartial as they can be. For the real deal on sportsbooks just ask around the site and you'll get feedback from the members. This is what really counts.

yeah, $6,000 a month gets an A+, You can get a B though for less than $4500. Pretty good deal I guess

Sure...SBR does a great service, but I think it could be miles better if they weren't receiving money from the people they were judging.

You make a great point but we can't blame sbr for this. Sbr does do a lot for us players including resolving disputes with books for us. Like I said just ask around and the best advertising is word of mouth so talk to the posters around the forum who have experiences with these books and they will lead you in the right direction.

well start you a magazine or website. But SBR has to be impartial to a point, do you think they would take money from say BetAttack that has an F rating and known to stiff people and give them an A rating? SBR is a business and has a rep to maintain to stay well respected in the gambling world.
