No more 6K bets those tend to get a little stressful.
I like the Northwestern / Illinois game over 142.5. The Illini started the season out kicking ass on offense and then had the two poor games against UIC on a neutral court and Missouri also on a neutral court but it looks like that is behind them as they returned to that stellar form they showed earlier this season shooting 67% against Iowa and 56% against Wisconsin. I don't believe Northwestern's defense is all that good (probably too many white guys), so I just don't see the Illini have much of a struggle scoring tonight. Last season they shot 50%+ in both games against the Cats.
For Northwestern to win games against these elite teams I believe they for the most part are going to have to outscore them. They are in the top ten in the nation shooting 42% on the three ball. They did put up 69 against Purdue which has one of the top defense in the league and then followed that up with their poorest effort of the season shooting a miserable 32% at home against Michigan State.
It is a little concerning with John Surna banged up and not playing well currently but this team has balanced scoring. The pace should be fairly fast so barring a horrific shooting performance from one of these teams this one should go over the total.
