Luck declaring to stay for another year at Stanford....Carolina is pissed, and trades the number 1 pick to Miami.

Miami announces Harbough as Head Coach, Luck enters the draft = and the dolphins live happily ever after.

I don't believe a word of it, until it is signed and a done deal.

    Unreliable source :

Jim Harbaugh, head coach of the Stanford Cardinal football team, is likely to accept a big-money offer from the Miami Dolphins. Harbaugh was to meet today with Dolphins owner Stephen Ross in the San Francisco area about the Dolphins’ coaching job, two people with knowledge of the situation said.
According to Mercury News writer Tim Kawakami, it’s “not a done deal, but everything is pointing that way.”
Harbaugh is 58-27 overall as a college coach and 29-21 in four seasons at Stanford. He took over a 1-11 team when he was hired in December 2006 and soon transformed the program. Harbaugh set a school record for victories this season by going 12-1.
To hire the Stanford coach, the Dolphins first must fire their current head coach, Tony Sprano.

It's not official, yet. I feel bad for Tony Sparano and his staff. Jeff Ireland pretty much napalmed any bridge he may have if he brings in another coach that isn't going to get monsterous money.
Also, there's been no reports of who the Phins have interviewed to satisfy the "Rooney Rule".

He turned Stanford from a laughing stock into a BCS contender. He also turned around a USD program around before going to Stanford. And lets not forget, he isn't exactly getting blue chip recruits at Stanford.

Just reported what I heard Deuce. They talked about him coming to Miami for 3 hours yesterday on the Dan Lebatard show. He is usually a pretty credible source, but he really made himself look bad on this call.

The Dolphins will not go anywhere until they get a legit QB, that's why no half decent coach wants the job over there. Miami needs to fix their team before they worry about fixing their coaching staff.

Because the QB situation is so stable in San Francisco.

The Niners will come out of the draft with a promising young QB, and make other personnel changes in the offseason. Miami just doesnt have a clue.
