SEC is having a down year. I knew they were bad all year and I usually give them the most respect by far. Hard to tell tho what teams are good when hardly anyone plays anybody good outside of their conference and then you don't let Boise State ever have a crack at them in bowl games. I seriously think the Pac MIGHT have been the best conference this year. No way to judge, really.

UGA is about the only team in the SEC that will play bigger name non conference schools.
Tenn also comes to mind (Oregon, UCLA )
UGA dropped Louisville for Boise next yr and just made a deal to
    play Ohio st in 2020
maybe a few other SEc schools do but nothing comes to mind off the top of my head

either way, its bullshit that a team can make their own schedule. OSU scheduled georgia in '20,'21 and tennessee coming up in '15 ha

Off topic, but I think the Gators might be just about the dumbest team in the country. This guy Reed has a lot of learning to do. Unders all day in Florida games next year.

I said it too lightly Reed is one of the worst QB's I have seen in a while.

    Iowa won outright. Cashed that

Fishhead was raging on my thread about how Iowa wouldn't cover and how horrible of a pick it was.

Big Ten has historically underperformed in bowl games. Nobody wants to go to a cold weather school if they can get a free ride, lets face it.

It doesn't help that the Big 10 plays all it's bowl games in the territories of their opponents....usually vs SEC teams in SEC country

    --Illinois vs Baylor in Houston
-- NW vs Texas Tech in Dallas
-- Penn St vs Florida in Tampa

I had a feeling that this would be a struggle this year. However, I think that the Big 10 will be better once they get the extra game and not so much of a layoff after their last conference games.

Doesn't surprise me. I started a thread about this after the Iowa game that I was fading every Big Ten team the rest of the way.

A lot of bad matchups and no great teams = sub-par bowl season.

Thats becausr no one would want to go to a bowl game in champaign. Sec did have down year but is still throttling tiny 11 in big bowls and will likelywin 5th straight nat championship.

You railed against me in my thread about how the hawkeyes wouldn't win and couldn't cover. Now your riding the one team that won in the conference.

    Pathetic.

I'll tell you why Iowa is terrible.

They lost to Northwestern AND Minnesota.

Any program losing in November to Minnesota is garbage.

And oh yeah, Iowa had 5 losses. In a shitty conference.

Both schools from the state of Michigan were just completly destroyed and outclassed. But at least they got a free trip to FLA and a break from the snow and cold.

Give it up Big 10 fans. Your conference took it's normal bowl movement in Bowl Games yesterday. You Big 10 homers should be used to that. There was no excuse for Wisconsin to lose to that crappy TCU team. Their offensive play calling was terrible. They did cover though, and that is the good news as far as I am concerned. Even though the Crap10 lost all five of their bowl games yesterday, setting a record that will never be equaled, they did cover two games, and came close to covering a 3rd, with Penn State. And look who you get next season. Nebraska, who lost to a 6-6 Washington team, and looked terrible doing so.

Legends and Leaders. The only thing they lead in is number of bowl losses and they are only legendarily bad against real conferences.

Just a diversion. Your just a bandwagoner. Ride the hawks when they win, but hell the week before the game all doom and gloom they will never win. I have your posts clearly stating that linked in my thread. Now your on here spewing your bullshit about the hawks and how them and Illinois are the only two teams to win..seriously. Your just a fair weather prick flip flop'n on both sides. If Iowa lost you would have just stated I told you they sucked and it was a horrible pick.

When haven't they been embarassed in the bowl games? the only team that consistently wins or is above .500 or keeps it close is Iowa. I think Wisconsin might be next. OSU gets stomped, Michigan has fallen... MSU just go put out to the pasture...Penn St underperforms with paterno as a coach. Good School, but nobody wants to play for a 84 year old has been.
