    When turning your hands during flys, you are peak contracting the whole muscle not only the inner part. The quadriceps are made of 4 different muscles, not 1 which is why you can stimulate the vastus medialis vs say the vastus lateralis. Biceps is 2 different bundles of muscle that have two different origin points and 1 common insertion point which is why you can somewhat isolate the different parts. THe diffence is, the pectoralis major is 1 muscle not 4 or 2. It originates on the clavicle and along the sterum and inserts on the humerus. The fibers do not run along the sternum (they originate from it) which is why you can somewhat do exercise for the upper and lower chest but can't separate the inner and outer. If the whole pec muscle grows, the area near the sternum will become bigger also but you can't just builfd the area along the sternum. It's science not myth.

    To summarize the best way to build your inner chest is too work out your whole chest. Isolation exercises which focus on the chest. Overall chest growth will yield inner chest growth. Flies have been mentioned numerous times.

    Dumbell flies around the world on a slight incline bench. The trick is hitting the proper incline on the bench. The motion is around the head by the ears in a wide arch with the elbows slightly bent as opposed to the standard fly motion. 15 or 20 lb weights for to begin. Slow and controlled movement. Higher reps {10 to 15** This exercise will stretch the inner pecs in a new way. I was sore for a week afterwords the first time I did this one. Try a 15 degree incline for starters. If it doesn't create soreness after the workout, try again with a different incline angle. Use in combination with the other standard exercises as a pre-fatigue.

    I dont understand? If youre ripped everyelse ... im assuming you have a six pack... you should have solid looking pecs. The stomach area and the pelvis area(sides) are where its the hardest to lose that fat just because you cant "target" areas you want to lose fat in. Only way to actually have a built looking chest is to lower your body fat.

    Genetics, you can't shape your chest. Some people have a bigger space in the middle. Just keep making it bigger overall and it will fill out a bit.

    Honestly, triangle pushups worked the best for me. Hold it at the top of the pushup, you'll feel it tear up your inside pec for sure. Good Luck!
