    After 5Dimes management reviewed the tape and game session logs, it was determined that an error was in fact made. Austin103, and all effected players have been credited with their cash winnings.

    I do want to point out that simple errors like these are things that a player can solve by calling in and asking to speak with a manager. In the heat of the moment it might seem like the book is out to get you, but we've never known 5Dimes to reach an unfair conclusion or shortchange a bettor. All books make mistakes, it is how they get handled that determines their worth.

    Why is it that 5dimes gets more negative attention than pretty much every other A+ book combined? There is not nearly as much negativity towards bookmaker, pinnacle, or greek. How can this book be categorized in the same category (A+) and have so many perceived problems and complaints. I would appreciate some clarification on this from a moderator or administrator. Thanks

    Lou, Bill, whoever chipped in, thank you.

    I had spoken to Becky for about an hour or so, and she was very, very nice and helpful.

    5Dimes did make the error, and they did indeed fix the error. I thanked Becky in the chat, and I will thank her again for her great help, and excellent customer service with this issue.

    Facts for this issue:
    5Dimes gives its players access to a 3rd party Live-Dealer casino.
    Other players at the table in this case may or may not have been 5Dimes players.
    No complaints have been provided or filed from any other 5Dimes player regarding this issue.
    The issue occurred shortly before 1am Eastern Time.
    The original transcript of the chat with the player, which began 10 minutes after the issue, is listed below.
    A screenshot of the table will be posted as as soon as it is resized to fit the format required in this thread.
    The player's original claim in the chat is he was dealt a blackjack. That claim is incorrect.
    The player claimed to be shorted $1250, when even if it was a blackjack, that amount would have been $750.
    The player was refunded the original $500 bet immediately.
    Once all the facts had been gathered, the player was given credit for a $500 win on a hand where he had been dealt a 20 vs a dealer 6.
    The dealer was never given the opportunity to draw to a total hand of 20 or 21 in this case.
    Rather than have a table setup laid out where both player and dealer could complete the hand with the pending card, 5Dimes chose to credit the $500 win outright.
    It does not take SBR to solve most problems. It takes all clients giving all offshore operations the time to properly do research into an issue before acting as this one did.

    Hey Austin, when you return a TV to best buy, do you just take it in and say "the tv screen went all black, and I've only had it 2 weeks, I DEMAND A REFUND NOW, AND A FREE VIDEO CAMERA" Or do you let them take the tv back out of the box you brought it in, and let them check it out before they refund you?


    Take a pill, you can expect all this stuff to get cleared up in 2 minutes. You have to understand that they have to check into things, and that may take longer than 5 minutes.

    I'd be pissed too, but you seem like a whiny bitch in the chat, they were obviously trying to help you, and you couldn't relax for 2 minutes to let them finish talking, you kept interrupting every time they'd say something.

    Seems like someones been pampered a little to much in there life.

    Good move for them posting the chat, you made them look like complete shit. And they showed that from the beginning, they needed time to look at the situation, and the whole thing got resolved within 24hours, in which you received more money than you bet.

    Ive had similar problems with 5dimes live dealer crap. About 2 weeks ago i was playing alone at a table and was dealt a 9 and 2 and the dealer showed a 4. My option buttons were never shown to me so they automatically make you stand (as if anyone would stand on 11). Well the next card out of the shoe was a 10. Well, i called in and talked to Becky and one other manager (dont remember the name) and they credited my the $20 for the hand but not the $40 profit I would have had being that i would have doubled or even the $20 profit i would have had, assuming i didnt double. I just thought that because the problem was on their end, that they should take responsibility...But no...not 5dimes!!

    The other thing that bothered me which im sure everyone can attest to is the miserable attitude that BEcky and the other manager had while on the phone. She basically told me that thats the way it is and if i dont like it, i should take my business elsewhere. Obviously she learned well from Tony

    You handled the matter poorly, but who knows how anyone would handle it until they are in that situation.

    And yes 5 dimes has "taken" 1k from me before, when I lost on a bet. They didn't take 1K from you. They cancelled a $500 bet, because of a fault on the live dealer, they refunded you that. Then you got an extra 750 out of it. Good for you.

    What your missing is, I spoke to the pitboss and the supervisor in THE GAME for about 5-10 minutes, they did NOTHING to solve this issue, thats why I went into the 5dimes CS.
