Not true at all. You just pushed it too far.

Maybe now you won't get paid. If not, you really can't blame them for not paying.

he could send 1,200 emails in 2 days and cuss them out on live chat every 7 minutes, if they owe him money they should pay.

otherwise every "stiff" has a case if they get calls from these infamous PORN DEBT COLLECTORS... "well they harrassed me so i am not paying"... they would say tough shit you owe us so pay, or the harrassment will get worse...j$ has the same case and has every reason to inquire about his money until it comes (if ever)

I do think you should get paid. You have proceeded to **** with them though. Depending on who's making the calls, it could go either way.

I'm sure you know you went too far. They may not give a **** about the situation. If you didn't push it like you did, you wouldn't be having the problem.

Now if you chilled and made a few posts saying your check didn't come, you would have more support.

I would have to agree w/ you on that as far as people using this as a reason not to pay.

From a business standpoint it would be best to pay. I don't run the business, so what I think really means shit.

I requested a payout last week for $1,370. Over the last two days I've been beat down betting w/ them. I checked with live chat and they think they are able to put on stop on my check. If not, they will notify me. I'd rather be settled then sending it right back. Plus I got a reload bonus and the credit bumped to $2,000 since this was the third time returning funds.

I wonder if the Feds have heard about their site and operation. If they are threatening people it could be a bad scenario.

buddy of mine owes like 500 to them and got an email ending in "Ignoring this will not make your responsibility go away! You accepted our Gambling Line of Credit and you are financially responsible."

arent they screwing themselves putting gambling in there? earlier posts pointed out how they called it a "loan" but this kind of squashes that theory.

Maybe if they were a US based company, but since they operate in a country where it is legal, then not so much. The Feds may issue arrest warrants, but nothing will really happen unless one of them steps in the US. Of course, I suppose they (Feds) could have the Go Daddy registration pulled and then CW would need to find another pointing registration to their Costa Rica servers.

By any means I am not a expert and this is just my opinion. If CW crosses the line on their collecting tactics regardless of what Country they live in they could get in serious trouble. Meaning they really have to cross the line something major. Just my opinion I could be completely wrong though.

LOL ... great business plan these guys have ...

I would say that 95% (conservative estimate) of the people who sign up at this place have/had no intention of paying if they lost ... they're simply freerolling .... the 30% that win, those people will demand payment ... and the 70% that lose will not honour their debt, either because they simply don't want to, or because they will convince themselves that CW would never have paid them anyway if they would have won (thus justifying their stiff job).

I'm not saying this in support of CW ... they might well be a scam operation. But I can guarantee that the vast majority of players, including most of the ones who will complain about not being paid, had no intention of paying CW if they would have lost.

One thing I do know, is that if CW was actually started as a legit operation, with the hope and intent of making a profit, that their business plan is one of the dumbest that I have seen in a long time.

Either the dumbest or ingenious. After all, there is a lot of free marketing they are getting. Millions in advertising dollars saved and an instant customer base by implementing this strategy. Maybe they will succeed, maybe not, but it sure was a fast way to gain a customer base and as we see here several people have posted up. Those people have stood behind CW and will continue to do so as long as CW pays. So, everyone will try them out and actually the ones that win are more incline to stay with them and these are people that would have never sent them money in the first place.

Maybe once they have been around a while and have established themselves in a favorable light, they will change their strategy. For now though, they sure have made a mark in this market and claimed market share at an extremely cheap price. Whether they continue this course or not, time will tell...

Just my thoughts on the subject.

This website was created in December 2007 and their registration expires in December 2008. The creditwagering.com website has no phone numbers to contact and though they claim they are in Costa Rica, there is no valid information filed within their Internet registration.

The website registration or sign-up page asks for the last four numbers of your Social Security number, your birthdate and a common security question, in addition to the usual name and address info. They are dangling the credit carrot to phish player information.....there is no other explanation for this. STAY AWAY

    --------

Also, when signing up it asks you to choose a security question. One of those questions is "city of birth". If you're dumb enough to use this question, that will provide them with the first 3 digits of your SS# leaving only the middle 2 digits unknown. Something to think about.
