when to many stars on a team it becomes a problem, they will have to compete with each other.

Odd has been dropping in many books. Either way this is a bad bet. You have better chance of cashing in your bet with other guys like Kobe and Durant compared to Lebron.

I like Durant's chances...he was 2nd last year I believe, he's the only truly star on the Thunder and he will put big numbers in the score each night

You guys are insane Lebron was unanimous MVP last year, and should only get better and now he has no chance. Larry Bird won 3 straight MVP's with great players playing around him.

i think durant will probably deserve the mvp but it will go to either lebron or wade, best record usually gets mvp.

Durant is very young and he will win multiple MVP awards over his career.....and thats why he dont win it next year. Pretty much the same reason why LeBron didnt win it until his 6-th season. And Durants team isnt top 5 team either... most likely MVP title goes to some little bit older player who hasnt won it yet

Kobe is old, not that he is not still great but not quite the same and Phil will probably lower his regular season minutes

Is an interesting race right now Rondo probably leading, but Lebron still should win.

I don't understand how people think Rondo will win the MVP with 4 hofers in the starting lineup. It's not gonna happen bro, Rondo will never win MVP. These are the things that are looked at during voting. Mentioning of Love and Felton and Derick Rose is laughable. Go look at the list of MVPs of the pat 20 years. Guys like that don't win.

I doubt Lebron wins MVP, of course he has a shot, but its Wade's team and if you have watched the Heat they have been putting the ball in Wade's hands at the end of games, not lebron.

15 pts / 15 assists / 4 reb's a game will never win MVP. So Rondo is out, but I'm just guessing those are his stats.

Love is hands down having one beast of a season...but won't even come close, unless he pulls of 20+ 20/20 games

If Miami gets rolling I could see Lebron taking it again.

Durant has been having a really bad stretch since he missed a few games.

If Pau Gasol gets back to what he's done the first 15 games(not these past few) he may have a decent shot, especially if he Lakers play good.

Durant should have been MVP the last 2 seasons. It's a popularity contest though, so durant has no chance.

Durant needs to want the ball in crunch time. Tonight he just stood and watched Westbrook and that led to Green missing 3 shots late in the game and it ended up costing the team the game. Durant is one of the best pure shooters in the league, now be more selfish and shoot the ball more down the stretch.

D Wade and Chris Bosh will hurt him, thou
and after the Decision, I don't think he'll ever get a regular season MVP.
Maybe Finals MVP if he make it there and win it.

I would take a shot with Derrick Rose. I think Boozer helps him big time.
And I got laughed at in this thread for picking him.

Miami leads Chicago by 2 games. Miami has 3 All-Stars to 1 for Chicago. So who is more "valuable"?

I'm from Chicago and would love for nothing more than Rose to get the MVP, but if I had to pick now, I'd go with Lebron as of now.

I personally think it's more impressive that he is putting up some solid numbers on a team that has 2 other all stars, rather than being the "main" option on a team, and having the ball in your hands every single play(either distributing or scoring)
