"If the Bulls or Nets signed Amare it would be a master stroke, for the Knicks its desperation"

I think Amare would really prosper with Thibadeau and the bulls. Ill take Lebron and Amare or Lebron and Bosh. I JUST WANT LEBRON!!!!!

If the knicks got bosh and amare they would be a .500 team. And they know it. They need Lebron or Wade.

    1. The shot clock never winded down on the Suns so for a better example, we'll refer to when the game was nearly over.

    2. Nash would always have the ball. He'll dish it to the open man whether that's Amare coming off a pick and roll or whether it's Jared Dudley in the corner.

1st play Suns run IN HALF COURT SETS: Pick and Roll (try it 2 times)

2nd Play they Run after 2 pick and rolls fail: Give it to Amare Isolation on the elbow

3rd Play Ran if can't get it to Amare: J Rich single/double screen off the baseline towards the top of the key/free throw line jumper off the screen.

When Nash can't do anything with it, its give it to Amare on the elbow and clear out.

They win about 7 more games next year.

not a difference maker. Helps to play with Nash, now he will suffer with average teammates.

what a waste of 100 mil.....i think Riley knows what he is doing GM, i know you love Amari for some reason but giving this guy a max contract is not a good idea.....esp putting him on a team in mia or ny where there a kinds of night life going on to keep him good and distracted......

He's a great pg imo, but weak on D. Either way, his style definitely helped Stoudemire fill those stat sheets.

Nash is hands down the most overrated pg in NBA history. He played with Dirk and Amare- Dirk is going down as the best big man shooter of all time.

BTW buddy, they gave Nash the MVP that one year Kobe averaged 36 a game, dropped 81 in a game, fukkin outscored Dallas by himself 62-61 after 3 quarters. Do you know why Nash got MVP that year? Cuz Kobe got accused of rape- everyone knows that Kobe was denied MVP that year. everyone.

It doesn't matter if Amare went to Miami. If he was with Wade he wouldn't get distracted. Amare is like Lebron. He needs to be lead by a proven winner. The explosiveness of Amare and Wade in pick and roll sets is unstoppable.

He is deserving of that contract if Joe Johnson is gonna get a similar contract. Amare cant be the number 1 option on a team, but he is arguably the best PF in the league right now. Let's see who else NY gets. They won't get passed Wade in the Eastern Conference anyway.

    Dwight Shrute,

You want to have an NBA debate right now? I will put any of your arguments to shame.

Dirk will go down as the best Big Man jump shooter of all time.

nope I don't because I am not as big a fan as you obviously but I do follow it enough. I never ever heard anyone say Dirk is the best ever jump shooter and Nash the most over rated before and I suspect I won't again.

anyways, we'll just have to agree to disagree on this.

Yes I know you meant Big Man shooter, I forgot to add that . Anyways, Abdul Jabbar, Garnett, Duncan and Bird come to mind but Dirk is up there as one of the best for sure.

Still puzzled about the Nash comment however. Nash is one of the best Players to ever play, never mind a pg.
