Bears beat a Vikings team that has a quarterback in that i have never even heard of while the Jets were taking care of a team that is one of the best in football so don't act like Bears are so great and they will be able to just run over the Jets. Pretty easy for Cutler when you have to score about 12 points to win games when you play the Lions on their 3rd QB, Packers without Rogers, and the Vikings with Webb. I would hate to have to play that brutal schedule.
Bears haven't played the Packers without Rodgers. They already beat the Packers with Rodgers. The Vikings had a QB you never heard of because they knocked out the QB you had heard of. Didn't the 3rd QB Lions beat the Packers?

You are what your record says you are. No doubt the Bears have been real fortunate to avoid injuries. Bears haven't lost any starters to injury other than one game for Cutler. But so what, that's who they are right now. That makes them dangerous too. Very healthy, all their key players.

I think handicapping based on "let-downs" and "statement games" is overvalued. It's more about the character of the team and its leaders, not just a factor of the team's playoff position. For example, Tom Brady, Bellicheck and the Pats want to crush every team, regardless of the situation.

If that was true.....they would have CRUSHED the Packers in their last
                    game...

Packers had a backup QB and was close to winning the game on
                    the final drive.....

Not necessarily. It's a lazy argument. For example, if New England gets upset by Buffalo this week, you could say the same exact thing. It's correlation with no signs of causation. I didn't watch the whole New England game, but was Brady joking on the sidelines or was he playing any differently (with an actual observation)?
