Compare NFL Bad Beats

Both sucked and I was with you on them too. They are different though. No need to talk about tonight, we know what happened. The Steelers game was more like a gift that was taken away. I assumed it was a loss before the freak play. The refs indian-gave us a win.

Worst one for me was Cleveland against the Steelers in 2008. I was on the Steelers -6. Cleveland, down by 7, has the ball with 3 minutes left in 4Q at the Pitt 13 and kicks a FG on 4th down. Pitt gets the ball back and goes on to win the game 4. Romeo Crennell was fired a few weeks later. That coaching decision was inexplicable. I still have nightmares.

Bengals back door cover on the Steelers on MNF may have been my worst NFL beat of the season. It was one of my bigger bets of the year and Pitt was dominating the entire game, I actually stopped watching assuming I won.

Ah, yeah good point and times like these are precisely why I just hate betting the NFL.

I totally remember that Cleveland game. I really rode the Steelers in 2008 and 2009 and their games typically have always provided some bad beat memories

Steelers Polamalu fumble recovery for a TD about 2 years ago all steelers backers were dead pretty much but with about 10 seconds left fumble recovery runs it in for a TD then it was overturned and steelers win by 1 instead of 8 and I believe the spread was 6. To make matters worse... the ravens had the ball on their own like 15.. so it was a meaningless review because no time was left.

Obviously tonight was bad.. I lost a lot on both.. but just trying to reflect which beat is worse... tonight it was not so much "stolen" as the steelers game was.. thoughts?

Not that it matters but that Polamalu game was vs the Chargers and I remember it well............

My bad I had tried to purge that out of my head.. I lost 900 on that game.. but like the other poster said.. it was like indian gave to us.

I still remember the Al Michaels quote that he said though...

"I don't really see why they are reviewing this"... al michaels then chimes in with "About the only people sitting on the edge of their seats are in las vegas right now"

or something to that effect. either way...its interesting to hear the bad beats and makes tonights loss more tolerable
