And in what way is your offense better than ours? We have 1 crawford's bat is better than all 3 of your outfielders combined. The only infield positions where we don't completely crush you are 2B(where we're tied) and C where we suck dick. Both bullpens suck and our SP is way better.
You're kidding, right? Nick Swisher had a higher OPS than Crawford last year and has a significantly higher career OPS. There's that immediately. Next, I'd take A-Rod over Youkilis, Cano blows Pedroia out of the water, and who's the Red Sox shortstop? I'll give you first base right now, but we'll have to wait and see if Gonzalez's hitting won't be affected by the smaller Fenway. Probably won't be, but crazier things have happened. Either way, Tex's career OPS is higher than Gonzalez's by a decent amount.

Also, the Sox's starting rotation is great with Lester, we'll have to wait and see if Buchholz can perform for a full season (meaning more than 200 IP), and Beckett and Lackey are beyond overrated.

You're one of those completely irrational fans, aren't you?

I'd hate to be the Rays next season.

I'll actually throw one more wrench in there. The team ERA for starters was 4.17 for Boston, and 4.35 for New York. Slightly better, but better still. The team ERA for relievers was 4.24 for Boston and 3.47 for New York. Considering Boston's was 23rd in baseball, and New York's was 7th, I'd say that the Yanks have that over the Sox right now, also.
