you kidding whats the difference between unemployment and welfare? You think most the people on unemployment wanted to be out of work? Think most of them got laid off because the company they worked for either went out of business or job went overseas. I also think alot of people on welfare haven't worked much in there life. I don't think you can compare the two unless someone on unemployment goes over like a year or so on it. Obviously you should be able to find a job in a year or two.

Not at the beginning...but the ppl that are on it for longer then 6 months, yes the majority do want to stay on it; all their highs bills have been adjusted at this point, so they have adjusted to their new income, and have come complacent (MAJORITY not all).

At what point is it welfare and not " Unemployment insurance"? Isn't that was a savings account is for? You say that Republicans are mean and want to cut it, but how long is reasonable? If you've worked 1 job in your life, should you get benefits for infinity? 2 years is too short?

5 people are competing for every one job opening. And you're really fuked and have no chance if you have an violent or 1st degree felony on your record. And jobs are being reduced by the day.
