Teasers aren't the worst bets if you know what games to tease... I'm 5-2 on NFL teasers this weekend and that will improve if the jets come within 9 tonight.

With that being said, they may be somewhat sucker bets in college football because the talent gaps are much larger. I just stick to NFL games with teasers.

Why did anyone play SD in teasers?

If it was -12.5 to -2.5 in a teaser then it's passable, although I'm not a big fan of 10 pointers. Good finds are too rare.

I got the middle two (NYG and GB), and yes it's amazing the numbers people tease.

I also did a GB - NYG teaser. I think this is the third time this year I've won a two team teaser when both my teams won in BLOWOUT wins. It makes me feel like I've screwed up not betting them all straight up. Would have a LOT more money right now. Think it's just variance and we made the right play?

Why did anyone play SD in teasers?

I was thinking the same thing. Not every game is meant to be teased. Personally what i do is i choose games in which i really like the favorite and the line is really low, for example this week i teased Phili -1, Seattle +2, and Rams +4 and i had an extra one in Chicago's game which i didn't play BC Rivalry games are always close and the home teams are usually tough to beat anyways despite their records. I am 13 out 13 in the season on 3 team 7 point teasers. I play one teaser per week. I have nothing to prove it bc i use a local bookie and he doesn't give out receipts and no i dont post my plays bc i cant handle the pressure and i choke under pressure. Just being honest here.

That's why I've avoid anything more than 4-teamers. If you really like that many games then just a bet a bunch of combos in a round robin. You get 9 of correct 10 you need to be winning money.

Teasers are sucker bets but if you must do them I would keep them to a small percentage of your total bets. A high percentage of NFL games are decided by 7, 3, 6, and 4 points. If you can take a 7.5+ spread down to 2.5 or below and vice-versa then they make the most sense, your are gaining 4 important landing points. Teasing over zero is never good as you lose one of your points. Teasers on totals are never good.
