Help us solve our football argument..

The debate was based on if an NFL team falls behind 4 TDs (0-28) by half time, would the running game start to diminish. He believes that it would stay the same, where as I believe they would start taking more risks by passing more vs running the ball.

Also would you guys consider the Colts as an elite team, not just this year obviously but going back a decade? When I say elite, top 8 teams in the league.

when a team is down a few scores they tend to pass more than run.

Of course the colts have been a elite team. Especially if you consider elite top 8. Just making the playoffs makes you elite by your standards. They have 2 superbowl appearances and 1 championship in the last decade.

These are pretty elementary questions for anyone who watches football. Yes the run game would evaporate trying to overcome 28 points.......unless the trailing team has already conceded a loss.

Top 5 teams last 10 years IMO

    1) New England
    2) Steelers
    3) Colts
    4) Saints
    5) Eagles

You're overratting the saints, they have been really good the last 3 years or so, but before that they were a middleing team. The packers and ravens should be over them, but I do think the other 4 belong there without question.

Your friend is an idiot for thinking a team would continue to run the ball like it was a tie game..

We argued about a lot of stuff, it's actually really fun. But yes I felt that these were so obvious answers that I told him I would post it on a forum and let the ppl talk.
