#40Sports memorabilia has made me a good profit. Half the shit I get for free. I live in the same town that a lot of New York Giants frequent. I see Brandon Jacobs twice a month around town, David Deihl I saw the other day at my boys eatery. Deihl, Jacobs, Kiwinuka, Ross, Bradshaw, and some special teams practice squad cat all play basketball at the LA fitness up the street from me in the off-season. Plaxico used to live in the next town and Jacobs and Bradshaw go to the same IHOP every Tuesday after practice. It's to the point where Jacobs cousin who lives with him is good friends with my brother and he actually knows who I am. He signs anything for me though and I get my younger brother to wait outside and get them to sign jerseys or balls or whatever when they come out. Usually I get anywhere from $75-$125 for stuff I pretty much got for $30. Greg Olsen went to my high school so I see him a lot as well. I just sold a football he signed for $95. Even Sinorice Moss signed mini helmet sold for $85. Victor Cruz' brother cuts hair at my barbers so if he ever lives up to the pre-season hype I might be in business.
I have a bunch of shit I am waiting to sell on EBAY:
-Shawne Merriman powder blue autographed authentic Chargers jersey.
-Ronde Barber white autographed Bucs jersey
-Whitey Ford signed picture.
-Greg Olsen signed ball.
-Peyton Manning, Joe Horn, & Aaron Smith signed Pro-Bowl water bottle.
Everything is legit but I do it on Ebay because people usually don't ask for a certificate of authenticity.Comment -

#41been a member since december 1998. still sell on there occasionally but between their fees and paypals fees they can eat a dick. its outrageous what they charge. but its still one of the best ways to sell nationally.
as for what i sell, mainly electronics, computers i buy broke and repair, pretty much anything i find that i can't sell CL (for instance i have an empty nintendo wii box listed now. won't go for much, but it'll sell)
as for what i've sold in the past, hell everything from a car to a rare baritone to gas powered rc cars!Comment -

#45I've been selling a lot of stuff lately on ebay. Mainly old parts I've had laying in the attic of my shop for 10+ years from my Mustang restoring days that I will never use.
Parted out a couple boats over the summer & sold a lot. Problem is shipping is so expensive for heavy parts, I use craigslist & my local classified papers for a lot of stuff. I also buy & sell small engines/lawn garden equipment. I bought 2 tillers for $70 a month ago, spent about $20 on them & a little time. Sold one last week for $135.Comment -

#46I used to sell websites and domain names. I don't do it anymore because paypal let's sellers get scammed all to time.
It happened to me once on a domain name, I had proof of transfer via godaddy, I had his email which was same as his paypal email in the marketplace where I agreed to buy, and they still let this scammer reject his payment and keep the name.
It's not safe anymore, if you do it, you better make sure the person has a good feedback !!! Nevertheless people still get scammed that way too by someone hacking into another account.
If your a seller, do craigslist. Seriously, deal locally.Comment -

#49I sell shit I don't need that people need.
I just sold a laptop that does not work (AS IS) and got $100 for it. I bought it for $400 2 years ago.
I sold a 16Gb iTouch for $200 and I bought it used for $200 from Craigslist. I had it for 3 months. So I got my money back for the iTouch.
With $300, I just bought a mini laptop.Comment -

#51NES console are worth about 50 on the low end if you have the controllers and cords. If you have the original box/manuals then you got something special and if the box is in good shape, that is very rare these days. It is just like collectibles/toy, for the majority of items, its all about having the original packaging just as much as the item itself.Comment -
