Great Question from Kenny Smith...
He asked Chris Webber if he would rather have 3 titles as a roll player or have 0 Titles and be in the Hall of Fame...Webber couldn't answer but body language suggested he would take the championships.
If it were you what would you rather be: 3x Champion or Hall of Famer?
For myself I'd take the RINGS.

no u take the hall of fame, u think anyone remembers kenny smith as a basketball player, its a different story if your a guy like robert horry or steve kerr
HOF player instead of a nobody player, not my fault my teammates were bad. I was vert good, if I'm in HOF. The HOF guy should have made much more money, too.

I swear they've had this conversation a hundred times before on that set, and it is always a little awkward & slanted seeing that there are two guys on there who were very good, but no rings.
I agree with Horry that I would rather be Charles Barkley. But I might rather be someone like Mourning or Worthy or was a great player and won titles, instead of being Patrick Ewing or Karl Malone who were a little better but never won a title.
I would like to be Bill Russell. Have a 10 Piece McNugget and be a Hall of Famer. That is where it's at.
As a ball player, you're supposed to say you want the rings. Or at the very least, you're supposed to feign contemplation here. But let's keep it real -- 99% of guys want that HOF induction and the $ that comes along with being a HOF-caliber player.
Championships because when you're winning, its just one big party
Depends on how much money your making as a role player
It all comes down to money in life not fukkin titles

Then I would take all the money I made in my HOF career, and tail Zigomaninsider and THA-DIESEL
Kenny was a pretty good player. Was almost a career 40% 3 point shooter which is great.
I would rather be a HOF than a role player because as a HOF you will always be remebered by your home town fans but a role player fades away in the years.
what's a roll player? is it the one who rolls in the pick and roll?
