#3I would love to know how many people have actually made money taking a touts advice.
i also want to know which books have sold my phone number to these guys. Clearly all those privacy statements on the sportsbooks websites are jokes.Comment -

#5I'm here to help!
I've been out of the biz for 8 years now, but I had a little experience.
"I would love to know how many people have actually made money taking a touts advice."
Many have made money with a tout. Many, many more have lost. The problem is, about 99.9999998% of the guys looking for touts are degenerates or ripe for abuse. The ones that are ripe are about to become degenerates, or whine like bitches on a posting board. These guys don't just buy 1 tout. They buy 10. A hot tout can make their client tons of money, but they will only lose that plus much more with all the other losers. And than be forced to pay the winning tout everything he has to get out. Than the hot tout goes cold. Vicious cycle. Even a good tout cannot help their clientele. The bottom line is, a tout (GOOD OR BAD) is only sticking a needle in the junkies arm and cannot help. Which is the main reason I'm out.

You can start with Nine.com and any others with telemarketing experience. Simply nature of the beast. Than look for any book that is endorsed by a tout. The tout will not cut a deal without getting the books list.

Before I left the biz.
The big guys = 10 million in sales

Actually, the SB is the worst day of the year for touts. Everybody has an opinion on the game. A tout needs a big schedule and a confused degenerate.
Hope this helps someone.Comment -

#9"is it like the boiler room type offices in Two For the Money?..."
Don't know, I wouldn't waste my money on the movie. I'll probably watch it when it hits HBO. But it is similar to the movie "Boiler Room". In fact, I used to post my sales pitches on the internet, I almost felt like I wrote part of the movie. A couple of 'must see' movies I would make my sales crew watch were GlenGary GlenRoss and Wall Street.
"Good post, Louie - a solid B+. You lost marks for dissing nine.com but gained even more for not making a single mention of video equipment."
Make no mistake. The post is worth an A. It's not a A++ because I don't have time for all the details. And I can give you a few million reasons why. That being said, if the truth makes you give it a lower grade, than consider yourself "ripe".
"But that was agreat and informative post"
Thanks.
Btw, 1 thing I forgot to mention. When they buy 10 services, 6 are under 1 roof with their 'salesmen' sitting right next to each other. Going over where their client sits money-wise. Plotting out a stategy for someone to get paid that day. The other four are under a roof down the street because the guy that just quit the first tout stole the name and sold it to the other tout.
