#37Ok SBR POINTs STIFFS LIST
#1 . NOBS -- 521 loans - 1 paid back, 520 Deliquent. Owes 2654 points. Credit Score -3454.
#2. RichBoy -- 2 stiff loans
Big Joe 1212, there are plenty of lists/threads about point stiffs already and I did pay back most of those. I didnt pay back deluxe liner and noober. I paid back about 10 loans.
also, I was stiffed/screwed by 5 or 6 posters myself, but i dont care.
Anyway, i really appreciate you calling me a big shot. My mom was just telling me yesterday that i dont amount to a pile of shit, so its really uplifting when my SBR friends give me some positive reinforcement and let me know that I am special.
Thanks friend.Comment -

#39You don't get his point. Why should the ones making affiliate money know how much I have with each book? It's none of their business. They can create a database of each poster's balance and track how much they lose and use it to offer them promos to deposit more. This is how the Pro program is envisioned to work in the future. Once they identify who are the biggest fish they will offer them more freebies to deposit more. It's a never ending cycle of giving you a carrot to keep betting.
But this trying to blame SBR, I dont get it. Your post acts like SBR has done something wrong here. Man we have all been getting free stuff from them since last August when this program started. We have been getting all this for nothing for a year. I have $200 in Wal Mart gift cards, $100 in target, and more in Burger King. All for free.
We all want this to continue, and all SBR is doing is trying to bring some dollars in the front door so they can keep it going. Its not cheap buying us all those pizzas and free gift cards. So here they come up with an idea to try an increase revenue and some posters act as though they are stealing from our accounts or something.
They have even been nice enough to say you can still participate in the points program if you dont become a PRO. I dont know how you can blame them for this.Comment -

#42i gamble for pennies compared to most people now anyway. unfortunately sbr didnt get any affiliate money back when i was losing it all.
however, if i ever needed help with a sportsbook id run straight to sbr and give them all my details anyway, therefore i dont see any shame in giving them some kickbacks of what i lose now...which in return gives me kickbacksComment -

#50Pavyracer I dont know you and I dont mean to start a fight, but this excuse screams of sour grapes. There is no shame in just saying, shit I dont have $200 right now. There have been times when I didnt have $200 extra to gamble with. There is no shame in that. And if you have kids or bills its only right to take care of that stuff before gambling.

#53nobs, I dont know you and I dont mean to start a fight, but you borrowed from 5 fellow SBR posters and have not paid them back. There is no shame in just saying, shit I messed up and dont have the points right now. There have been times when I didn't have any points to gamble with. There is no shame in that. And if you have point loans outstanding, its only right to take care of that stuff before gambling.
Just kidding!
But is this really true, that you stiffed these SBR posters? At least you didn't make a new poster name like most scammers do.

#54nobs,
I don't understand why you wouldn't pay these 5 posters the 455 points you owe them, especially when you had over 1300 points in July.
They trusted you when they loaned the points to you, how come you didn't pay them back when you had all those points?Comment -

#56First, the venues I wager at (and funded well before the change in banking procedures for US banks) are not one of the sponsors of this forum. Second, (and I hope I am not violating the vow of silence) I have opened an account with one of the sponsored books but have yet been able to fund it. The book suggested one way which I tried and it failed. They suggested I try again and it failed again. They suggested I call them (they did not want to reply in an email) so they can tell me where and what kind of card to purchase that could be used to fund my account. I go where they told me and lo and behold, they don't sell those cards anymore! They then suggest an online service which I sign up for and when I go to fund the account, there is no option to use this service. When I ask where the link is, I get this email reply: "Our instant deposit processor is having an update and is temporary unavailable, unfortunately we don't have a time frame for it to be back"
I may just have to give up my hopes of becoming a "pro" and stay a novice!

I just feel that this answer is unduly paranoid. If your problem is that SBR will continue to offer carrots to keep betting and you can't resist those carrots within your own boundaries then your are probably already doomed as a gamber.Comment -

#63I thought SBR made some money with the Books Ads but I don't know... Never bought anything from the shop... I just like the idea to show poster who help you out some appreciation by giving them a few points. It's a nice gesture and liek JJ said those are fvckin penniesComment -

His excuse for not paying these people back is because he said he was stiffed by another poster (that had nothing to do with these 5 separate loans)

#69I'm at two of the books above anyways, and if I can support SBR in the process, then by all means I would do it. I've never used the points for buying anything, but then again I've not wanted to either. What I do believe is there are some folks who are just hanging around with their hands out for a freebie. I think the "Pro" program could be used to reward those SBR members supporting the site or tweak the points program to entice people to go Pro. I think scaling back points to the lurkers/moochers would definitely help with some of the craziness that goes on.Comment -
