Do you people realize how "AVERAGE" McNabb is?

Very average QB, ESPECIALLY at this stage of his career.

Another f ucking blunder by the Redskins organization, which has been a common theme of theirs for the past 15 years or so.

Redskins ownership takes the exact opposite approach that the Steelers have always taken......

PLLLEEEEZ.........QB RATINGS are but "ONE" halfass meaningless statistic.

McNabb is "average" at this point in career ...........AT BEST!

Eagles fans should be rejoicing that this guy will be playing in their own division........what a great, great trade by the Eagles management team.

McNabb has the lowest INT percentage of all time I think, but still not sure if I like this move.

he's third-tied with world beater Neil McDonnell, and just above other world beaters Jeff Garcia and Mark Brunell. Aaron Rogers and David Garrard are 1 and 2.

and this is probably because when McNabb misses, he misses low, and bounces it, rather than missing high with floaters, ala Favre.

    he is vastly overrated.

I think Billy Kilmer will have a decent year if he can get some help from Larry Brown and Charlie Harraway in the back field

McNaab always give his team a chance to get to superbowl which is a amazing stat, if he has a few more good years and nfc championship games with wash he is a 1st ballot hall of famer.

    True

    That's asking a LOT though........

The fact is, at this point in his career he is a very average QB..........at best.

Average QB's consistently get there teams into the playoffs. If he is average Brees is garbage considering he has gotten his team to playoffs 50% or less of the time

Fishhead I know QB's very well and Mcnaab is a winner compared to 90% of NFL Qb's.

The mistake you guys are making is trying to compare McNabb of 5 years ago to McNabb of today. Today he is old, past his prime, and injury prone. He has always been a choke artist. His play against Dallas in his last two games of last season was horrid. He was flat terrible. There are at least 10 QB's who are better than McNabb is TODAY, and TODAY is the only thing that counts.

No one will argue that McNabb had a very good NFL career. To do so is foolish. But the bottom line is that he has a losers mentality, can be a cancer in the locker room, and never won a Superbowl. He only got there once. He lost 3 out of 4 NFC CHampionship games. To expect him to get to another NFC Championship game with a very poor team and a coach who'se entire career was based on one player is just asking for way too much.

This is a really good move for the eagles and redskins. No matter how you look it at Mcnabb is better then campbell. The eagles have a great backup in Kolb who is more then ready to take over. The eagles and redskins are going to be better teams.

I haven't noticed that much of a dropoff. If anything, he's coming off one of his best seasons as a QB.

Sure, he had a couple clunkers against the Cowboys who were finally coming together as a team after years of underachieving. If anything, give some credit to the Cowboys defense.

I totally agree. Washington has a washed up QB and a washed up HC. They think they can turn the clock back 5-10 years and have a major rebirth of these two. Will they improve on their 4-12 record of last year? More than likely, but how much worse could it get? Have they thrown away the future of the team? Absolutely.

The Redskins are similar with real good WRs who are kinda fickle. So I say it's a good match. Watch for some OVERs.

What.. Sounds like you're a mcnabb fan. I think he's pretty good too, just watch the eagles games and you'll see he plays terrible sometimes, same with santana and randle-el.
They'll have some real good games, and other times play bad..
