first off, welcome to the sbrforum

i hate to see anyone get screwed out of money, but thats quite a large sum of money. if you don't mind me asking, whats the story behind this one ?

Mauricio and company posed as rich investors / had contacts with investors, and made a loan agreement (with all normal legal terms) for a legit business in the US. The Funds he said were offshore funds and my buddies crossed checked this through the president of Chamber of St. Maarten who said it was legit, and that the bank would release funds upon payment of normal processing fees / point if you want to call them. So two wires were sent to companies (Mauricio picked up the money)..and then all of them vanised. Repeat phone calls go nowhere. Instead of going the nice way, we are thinking of going full out and go to the authorities, and bring this guy and a friend of his to pay / go to the can and never see daylight again...( I hear they were involved in something else!!!! as well).

If I can get some help here from folks who have lost their money as well (big/small does not matter)...I can establish the case I need to establish a pattern. I have a lot of other dirt on their whole gig..so i am just backing all the info, before I do what needs to be done...

They took me for just under 5k about a year and a half ago when they refused to pay my balance with VIPBetZone. I don't know what much can be done, but assuming everything is legit, will try to help if I can.

count me in,i can be reached @ sstiehler@comcast.net,will be anxious to help.essentially,i screwed up and got my balances up to $19000 playing heavy on baseball dogs 2 summers ago @vipbetzone.went to see him at his office (will give you his address if you dont have it)and he didnt have the balls to simply state he was screwing me-he said his employee ripped him off.i believe the way he runs his books is he turns over the mgmt once they owe too much.i saw a local attorney and paid a small retainer but never heard from him again.i still have computer print outs of my balance and will happily fly down to testify against him if you can get him in court.good luck

Thanks Jumper..I've got to know him and a buddy of his (mena?), during the time I've been after them to pay up. I know where they are as well, and since my transactions were interbank transactions with full records..i have all legal power to go after him (international law suit) and I will do so..against all of them. I am preparing myself as we speak. Thanks for your help. More dirt I have against these guys, the better ( I have found some other stuff as well..unrelated to sportsbook)
Will keep looking here for more, and then contact you folks when the time comes.
