But I think you're right. Jokic is the perfect star player. European attitude means there's no ego.
Jokic showed that he's very hard to stop b/c of the different ways he can beat a defense. I mentioned this during the playoffs. The Western big-names are DECLINING, not improving. Teams like GoldSt/Lakers have no more window unless they land an emerging player.

Agree. Not even a big deal. A team wins an NBA championship. No one really cares do they.
You're blind. Gordon, Porter, Joker, and Murray are all big-time top gun players. And they all have size too. While I am not calling dynasty or anything; they definitely were the best team in the league this year.
The most uninspiring NBA Finals ever... joke of a league. If Miami could be Milwaukee and Boston... why couldn't they compete against Denver? You can't put this bullsh## on TV as your main attraction for a Finals match up. Ridiculous
Boston would of matched up better... more competitive... at every position. Not saying they would of won... but series would of went 7 games.
Denver this year was on a mission. They would have obliterated a fractured team like Boston. And Miwakee wasn't healthy the whole year, they had no chemistry or comradarie like the nuggets. It's not always about the guys on paper.
Boston would have fallen apart at the first sign of adversity. Prolly woulda got swept. Plus Butler did not play good this seires. All it takes for miami is for their star to not play well and they are susceptible. Miami got their on sheer will. But you're right in the sense of I would have preferred if Embiid or something made it to the finals. But whatever, those guys are bitches for now advancing. Embiid Tatum Brown Harden all losers.
I also respect Denver for sweeping Lebron. Doesn't happen often unless he's playing a legendary team.

Nuggets did surprise. Cleaned up. No series was even close in these playoffs. Solid team. Big white boy in the middle made all the difference!
