I didn't see the Sixer game last night but I heard what you wrote, that the last minute of the game was a clusterfuck.

I've got Broussard's and Nick Wright's show on in the background on FS1, they just showed a quote (graphic) from Doc Rivers earlier today where he said, "as far as I'm concerned, the MVP race is over"

Honest to God, I think Doc wants that MVP award more than Embid does.

I have no skin in the game this year like last year, where I made a tidy profit on Jokic, so I do hope Philly cashes his ticket.

You know what was better than cashing that Jokic ticket last season?
Reducing Thom O. Rino, Attorney at Law, to tears on a daily basis.

Try as I did, and I really tried like hell to take the high road last year with him, I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

Mark Jackson's Nikola Jokic-less NBA MVP ballot

    • Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers
    • Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
    • Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics
    • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder
    • Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers

Might have guessed, no Doncic either, just his favourite "brothers". Donovan Mitchell indeed...

Yep, he's a Sixer late scratch.
I think there's value in the Embid MVP prop, I for one can't tie up my money long term on a health risk.
It just might be Luka's turn to win, or Joker again.

I would love Sabonis to win this year, he's having an eye-popping monster season as well, thing is with all the other names, he's always going to be overlooked.

Jokic should win it until he retires. Jordan should of won it like 8 straight years.

He's not injured though... was not on the injury report at all. Scratched himself at the last minute. No problem scoring 70 vs the worst team in the league but he doesn't want to go against the champs with a depleted lineup.

Sixers, win or lose, will get fined for this. Can't pull a guy from a tv game like this, least of all when it's one part of the greatest player matchup in the NBA.
