Did you hear him towards the end of the game try and explain why the refs kept the clock moving when the guy clearly got tackled in bounds? He was explaining forward progress which had nothing to do with this particular play. Nantz just ignored him and continued on with some other topic

Tony pulled back at the last second from dropping that N bomb. Saved him his job and career. Whew that was a close call though Tony Romo!

It's certainly possible. You have to have the KILL SWITCH ready instead of losing every sponsor.

yes good point. like it was not surprising the clock kept moving. i think romo tries to do too much at times. he was better when it flowed effortlessly from him.

Yeah, he was lost. The clock was moving but Cinci called a timeout, which Nantz quickly said to save him and he still rambled on.

Problem is he talks so fast, he has no idea what he's saying because he doesn't let a play finish before talking.

On the "niggas" line, I think he was going to say "Niners." There's no way he was going to say 3 niggas. I mean, c'mon.

Romo was a bit over the top with his performance yesterday. As it was his final broadcast this season all will be forgotten in due time. He will adjust and be fine.

Yes, Tony tries to hard where it gets annoying, he's very excited on pretty much every play. It's like calm down Tony. Chill bud...

And on top of this, he got schooled by Greg Olson who did a much better job for much less pay in the NFC Champ!

That’s what I thought too. He was going to say ‘Niners’ but halfway through the ‘N’ realized it was the Bengals, so it was probably going to kind of be ‘Ni-engals’ but he just stopped at the ‘Nih’. Still not as embarrassing as this though:

    Dumb question:

*Do the refs sometimes let the ball get too greasy?

On the Mahomes fumble, ball looked greasy. Same as the bad hold by Romo, ball looked greasy.

That play broke my heart as a Cowboys fan. I lost money and shook my head in disbelief.

Frigg'n Tony! Should have stuck with dish washing. Shitty choking football player JACK!

Thing that always amazes me about that play is Romo has basically a walk-in touchdown after the bobbled snap. The guy that clipped his legs from behind was the real hero of that play. Plus, the Dallas kicker put a decent block on the guy (for a kicker anyways) and he still made the tackle. Otherwise, Romo's momentum likely carries him into the end zone, or at worse to the one yard line, which would have been a first down.

Plus, the play before, a Whitten catch at the 1-yard-line for a first down was overturned on replay and ruled short. If he gets the first down, Dallas likely scores a TD on the next play or two.

Very close to walking in for that TD.

Losers gonna lose though. Romo never had it bottom line just like Dak now. They played good during the regular season and get all the hype then come playoff time they fail.
