Florida kicks fg to keep shutout streak alive

Hadn’t been shut out since 1988. Kick a fg down 30-0 with 30 seconds left lmao streak goes to 436 ncaa record

How many games in that ncaa record only had 3 total points scored by florida?

Without looking it up you likely have no idea and that’s why you do it. No one 2 years from now will remember they did that but the streak stays alive and with literally nothing else to play for why not.

Plus - looking at play by play it was 4th and goal from 24 so it’s not like they kicked from 2 yard line.

That's like losing 5-0 in soccer and you ask the other team to score an own goal in injury time so that your scoring streak can stay alive.
