TCU gets in with a loss. Your headline should read
    Georgia vs TCU
    Ohio State vs Michigan

I don’t think anything changes with the first three seeds. #4 is the question and if they want Georgia to face a team that can physically match up, or a soft as puffs team who will get boat raced

i'm sure the committee would prefer bama over 1 loss tcu. does anyone think tcu wins the chip, even undefeated? a 2 loss bama team would scare anyone. they have a plus 270 scoring differential scoring 489 and giving up 216 points. they have 2 losses by a combined 4 points. uga would be 1. and bama 4. you get the classic matchups of uga/bama and mich/osu rematch. not sure mich would be favored by much. tough to beat your rival twice in a season. bama beat uga in sec chip last year and got crushed in the big game.

For an easier route it is good with bama out, but for excitement and ratings, having bama, uga, mich, and osu in a final four is much more interesting and probably exciting as well.

committee, networks, sponsors. having bama, osu, mich and georgia would be the perfect farewell for the actual cfp

committee will favor bama strength of schedule and quality of losses

    1. Jawja
    2. Meeeechigan
    3. Horny Frogs
    4. The Ohio State U.

Let's see what LSU and Purdue have to say about that as they can shift the rankings order if one or both pull off an upset.

However, regardless of today's outcomes, I believe there is little to no doubt that the 4 playoff schools are:

GEORGIA, MICHIGAN, TCU and OHIO STATE

tcu is in, the bama talk makes no sense, look at the team thats 7th, a team that beat them and has the same record

seedings debatable as of now, would think they would want to avoid ohio st michigan rematch

also you essentially would have rewarded bama for losing to lsu, because they would be playing georgia right now

do you know how many double digit underdogs in CFB history have pulled outright upsets?

stop with this "would beat......." nonsense.

Bama did not beat any teams of consequence (their best wins were vs slightly above average wins) and they lost to the two best teams they played.

    they are OUT

except the 4 team playoff comes back for the 2023 season.

the 12 team playoff does not start until the 2024 season.

Exactly. Of course, Bama is better and would be a better game. Doesn't matter. The committee wanted USC to win to eliminate all Bama talk. Then, they wanted TCU to win to eliminate all Bama talk. Now, they will punt and put TCU 4th.

They boxed themselves in when they seeded Bama ahead of Tennessee. Yes, the TB QB is hurt, but so what? Under that scenario, OSU should not have gotten the 4 seed when they won the title with a third stringer. The TN loss to SC doesn't look as bad after what SC did to Clemson.

anyone who did not see that TCU would remain in the Top 4 and even stay at #3, knows NOTHING about college football.

it was SO obvious that if you did not see it, you should turn in your "college football watching card".
