Again, I'm not trashing SBR for this. If anyone looks at my posting history an can sort through the Fly Me posts, you'll see I'm not overly critical of SBR. What is frustrating is a year ago when this started, we were all heavily promised all this would be sorted out and working by the football contest this year. We're no closer to whatever the SBR vision is (because certainly the posters don't know what said vision is, at this point I can only presume the SBR owners/brass/mods also do not know) then we were a year ago.

I don't need free stuff. Sure, I like the SBR sportsbook, but I don't need point redemption. They matter little in my day to day life. I'm not even mad about points no longer being redeemable. The problem is a lot of us have been waiting around for a year because you guys kept telling us all this would be sorted out by the football contest this year. Now we're part way through that and it's absolutely clear there's no resolution in sight for...... whatever it is you guys are doing.

I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

Texas doesn't allow sports betting but they do allow daily fantasy. If the points system means DraftKing points or DK dollars then this is awesome! I like where this is going. To my SBR broes - give them a chance. Maybe you will like this way better than before. These guys could of just yanked all the points away and called it a day. I know some of you have way more points than I do so obviously you're way more invested in this outcome. That said, let's support the new SBR and something tells me we will all benefit in the end. And in case the announcement does not get the message across clearly, the intention is still to provide the same level of value for betpoints in the end.

Being able to trade in our betpoints for trips or a bash would be a great option for posters. Trading in points for buy-ins to major poker tournaments or B&M betting contests would be cool also, and great publicity for the site if a poster was able to take down something like a WSOP event or Circa survivor contest.

...of course can't say I'm surprised (remember Betislands and SBR's role? What can anyone expect from such an outfit? Definitely nothing that's going to be good for you, haha). I've seen stuff like that in the crypto world. They scam you out of your coin under some bullshit reason, then close shop and reopen under a different platform/name/sinister plan, so they can do it again later. Except doing it again doesn't work for proven frauds when your customers are self-respecting individuals. They will not be back!
